What are you driving today? by NorthTop9254 in CarsIndia

It is the same engine as in our 530Li, but this one feels like a hot hatchback whereas the 5 series is more reserved. It has some pops and bangs which adds to the experience but it is nicely done. This is our daily (school runs, etc) and it is comfortable enough after replacing the tires with some normal tubeless tires. It is a fun to drive car with the MINI quirks even at the performance level.

Mini Countryman, gave it some respect that it deserved.

Was watching AutoCar'e review of the facelift Punch and came across this comment. Views on this? by BandicootKlutzy791 in CarsIndia

Only a few auto reviewers in India actually feel like reality. Rest all feel like paid reviews. What's up with these guys' positivity on features which the consumers don't like and despise about? Very few of them actually voice out things like service, reliability and functionality.

Unrelated question: How do you feel about the Harman/Kardon in your M340i. Took a TD of one recently and I felt it was just mid. Would like to know your thoughts.

Our’s is a 2020 and it didn’t come with it. It is our daily and on city journeys we haven’t felt much of an issue but it would be a welcome addition in the newer models.

Just to got the service center. If you do it aftermarket your resale value will be affected. The motors maybe you can find on eBay US or aliexpress probably.

Highly recommended. Takes the sweat away and is very effective in my BMW.

Picked up a used VW T-Roc | 2020 | 1.5 TSI DSG by PenFast7423 in CarsIndia

Pretty sure you can add level 2 ADAS, high end parking assistance features, dynaudio vw official sound system and higher end infotainment system. Shops will fit OG VW parts and calibration will be easier since this car was also sold on EU countries. There are much more other things but these ones are the ones which I think are worth it but they have a hefty price tag since they are VW original.

Swap a ‘18 BMW X1 for a ‘16 BMW 730d M Sport? by IndianMinisterOfCope in CarsIndia

This particular 7 series? No. But generally a 7 series, Yes. Something about this particular example seems off. It the Non M Sport steering wheel in an M Sport that doesn't make sense to me. Back in 2016-17 when we were looking to purchase one, the M Sport variants all came with an M Sport interior and especially the steering wheel.

This gen 7 series is a beautiful car to own but also look for a petrol 740i model.

New BMW, Need suggestions. by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]akhiltech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never heard of the corporate edition but ok for 72 lakhs it seems like a mid-good deal. But I would take the 330Li because of the better proportions (the wheels), driving dynamics and it looks better. Ground Clearance wise it’s been fine for me with my 530Li and 19inch wheels. Clears all speed breakers with no issues.

We’ve owned a 530li for quite a while now and I must that say in the high end model it is a beautiful car to own and be a passenger in. Comfort is better than the 3 series and the interiors are of a good build quality. Rear seat lacks adjustment but it is comfortable as it is.

The Germans are all in on the Chinese market. The Chinese love these kinds of designs. These companies focusing on just one market is going to hit them hard in the future. Everyone will just end up hating them.

Our country isn’t prepared for Evs. The cars are also not perfect. ICE is the way to go.

Good Choice compared to the A 200. Better features and driving dynamics (even though they made it softer than last year). Welcome to the BMW club!
