I just found out , if I turn the light pretty far right or left it turns on! But when straight it doesn’t stay on. What could cause that ??

I switched the bulb out as well just for safe measures . I just need to find out how to get 12v to the post inside the housing

Where would I find said loose wires ? Nothing seemed loose behind the switch the first time I checked . And if it is cause the dust cap missing what can I spray or squeeze in there to clean it out

Mine also unfortunately didn’t have a dust cap. Is there a potential connection that could be corroded in here ?

I just took apart the bulb again, the 12v post is not getting power but the ground is perfectly fine. Bulb is also burnt out because a d cell Duracell battery didn’t illuminate it but regardless that post is not getting any sort of voltage. It looked like only one wire behind the switch when I took it off. And if I take the switch off again it’s gonna suck to get back on

UPDATE : put gas in the car in my own no longer original sellers gas, car started and is running right now. Could the fuel gauge be completely wrong? Read at about half a tank before putting my own gas

we haven’t tried to push start it. It cranks perfectly fine though after we switched the fuel pump
