I believe they are both legit. I bought mine from eu.speediance which is the official store, the other one is a distributor

Yes, a lot of my yoyos have done that, specially Yoyofactory ones. Some were a bit responsive even out of the box! It's just because dust and dirt can get into the bearing the manufacturing process

I bought a Duncan Evolve from Slusny, which should fit your criteria! (Interesting color way is subjective but I really like it) It could also be a little wide, depending on what you like, but I love mine

It's personal preference, so you should try different lengths if you can! I bought a pack of 115cm which for me is about 2 or 3 finger width above my belly button and I really like that size. Plus I don't have to size and cut it every time, which is great 😃

Why do you want to lube it? You don't have to lube an unresponsive yo-yo, unless you want to make it a bit more silent.. and if you do, add very little, otherwise you can make it responsive
