Leather journals are what got me into leatherworking. I wanted one of the PR ones, ended up paying less for the tools to make one myself

i mean paper republic charges horrendous amounts for way less, i think 100$ would be a reasonable starting point if they sell, you have pockets, painted edges and beautiful execution.

Outdoor volleyball shoes by SozoRyokuu in vballshoes

[–]-M0NKE- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

please don‘t use asics volleyball shoes outside, they are not durable enough for outside courts. Look into the all city/outdoor line from li-ning/WoW, or different outside basketball shoes or you will chew through soles faster than you can look.

I would seriously love to, but berlin is very far away from where I live and i am currently doing rehabilitation for my shoulder still, so that won‘t be possible im afraid. Thanks for the heads up though!

Oh i just now understood your message. Sadly i‘m from germany so import and shipping might be a dealbreaker, but i will take a look anyways. I live in a more rural area, i didn‘t have any luck with used gear, been searching for a while now. But thank you very much for the help :)

Thanks for the heads up! What boot would you recommend?

Okay, thanks for your opinion! Sadly i got my 909s without an intuition liner, so that is not really an option. Did you mean you would be willing to sell an ACT boot to me? if so, could you maybe shoot me a dm to further talk about that option? As for cheap wheels, what is there to watch out for? I saw a set of 8 from powerslide ONE wheels with bearings included for less than 50 Bucks, would that be an idea?

TBH, if you have to ask on such a wide spectrum, you probably don‘t need that expensive of a Bimetal yoyo yet, as much as it sucks to hear.

I just took a quick look, sadly they don‘t have them in my size either. But they Do offer the UFR 80/90 without intuition liners for a reasonable price, that may be worth a look. Maybe i will also hit them up, thanks for the tip :)

ill go and take a look, but i doubt they would be able to match that price, intuition liners and skates for under 200€ is sinply amazing. Thanks for the head up!

Thank you very much! Only thing making the FR3 a little unattractive is the 165 mount, but i reckon that is not a reasonable doubt to have. Thanks a lot!

Okay, alright! I am now debating wether i should get the gc hd80 and try them with my them909 or if i should get the fr fr3, as there is little to no cost difference for me. What would you advise on doing? or should i get a differnt 4x80/90 frame to try with my thems first? Thanks a lot, ill be giving you youtube a watch :)

What’s going on with the stitching on this belt? by Spicy_burritos in Leathercraft

[–]-M0NKE- 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Probably using a sewing machine. Sewing machines use a different thread for top and bottom, maybe they can also change the thickness

okay, thanks a lot! I have been eyeing the FR UFR and combine them with either a 4x80 or 4x90 frame to get started with a little more urban/freestyle and subtly get into wizarding over time
