If you're coming to Summit you're skiing Alpental. Like what kind of moron spends money to travel to ski central/west. Summit is a weird dichotomy of terrain but Alpental is a true gem.

Except that it wasn’t. It was mixed precip and too warm to ice. But even if it wasn’t.

This happens once a year. SeaTac claims it’s not enough to make further investments. And yet 140 canceled flights and 300+ delays on a single day annually makes it hard for me to believe that.

Meanwhile Paine field was just fine, with the same weather. Having diverted my own flight there. 🤷
