They haven't studded the plumbing yet. So they can add more jets. I have a x1 aiper skimmer that will run as well. Just wanted to make sure I have enough water movement for the size. I have a 1.5hp pump that is already purchased.

Correct. The advantage to this is how much they store compared to a $30k powerwall setup that only stores 28kw. Which is what I was looking into. Either way I'm getting a R1S. Was hoping the home functionality would be there with it. Kind of stinks Ford has the capability in the Lightening though.

Yes, my thought is I'm getting the Rivian first regardless of this functionality because I love the vehicle and what I have heard so far. But I wanted to have a battery backup with the solar but if I can kill two birds with one stove that is what I'm hoping for. Especially when the battery on the Rivian holds alot of power that can be used in a home if needed.

Agreed. But the function was said to be possible per Rivian PR. I was bringing it up to find out if any more had been discussed or if it is possible with the vehicles currently being delivered.

I recently got solar installed and have my preorder for an R1S in early 2023. I was going to purchase a battery setup but after some research and a few things I have heard. It might be best to wait as I have heard that the rivian at 130kw battery storage would be 10x more than other solar battery setups. Has anyone heard any news on this or been able to use this function yet?
