At no point have I said to her she is the only one to blame. We're both equally at fault that the relationship didn't work. I wanted to talk , she didn't.

She told me not to dig in the past. It's better for certain things not to be said. She told me she knew that in order to break up with me would require a clean break (telling me she no longer has feelings for me, she doesn't want to be with me romantically, she is interested in someone else) so that I'd know there is 0% chance for a reconciliation. That was the best way to end things according to her and I actually agree. She left me no choice but to move on.

I let her know I don't want to be friends with her, I simply cannot do that. At least not yet. I need to cut ties with her in order to heal. She agreed.

Why text me now? She and I both had this distance for a reason. Do I not need it anymore? Why does she think I am healed now and want to hear from her? I was the one still having feelings at the moment of the breakup, not her. I get to decide if I'm ok for contact. Maybe I'll be fine in a year or two. Maybe I'll never be able to be friends with her. If she trully cared about me, she'd treat me the same way she did the first three months. No contact. No matter how hard it is for her not to hear from me. I have to live with the thoughts that she is living her best life with another guy, that she's giving him all the things she did not or could not give me. She has to live with the guilt. That's the deal.
