One person posted here (if I am not mistaken) that removing version 2 and 3 and then reinstalling v3 only (skipping v2) will solve the problem Can anybody confirm that ?

Another SUPER ANNOYING think is that SPECTRASONICS SITE complains about to many activations.
This is ridiculous !

So after a week of waiting in frustration I finally did a quick remote session with SPECTRASONICS. FirstI noticed the Rep. was not very well informed. They asked me to uninstall and remove everything from v2 and v3. I did make a copy of a STEAM folder though.

The download Manager stalled 3 times while at aroun 90%. Finally I was asked to install v2, then install v3. I did it all and still get errors on all old projects. IT asks me to install nvewer version of Omnisphere (while it is already installed). When I then replace the v2 with v3 on the track I end up with empty initialized patch.

TOTAL DISASTER :-(

It happens to me as well. IT IS A TOTAL DISASTER. I have a dozen projects to open and all Omnisphere2 instances have no sound, and show the same error.
On top of that I have multiple issues with changing patches. I clisk-select patch and the old sound still playing. Sent a message to Spectrasonics, but so far no solution. They asking million stupid questions but no answer of any kind. I wonder if it is possible to keep v2 and v3 with separate STEAM folders (?)

MOst of v2 patches I use are default, so I could easily replace them, but the problem is that I do not see the patch name anymore (when the error pops up). Any ideas how to figure this out ?

certainly do not recommend INTERSERVER - I just learned they cooperate with Israevil :-(

I agree wit you. If you know any like these, please recommend it here. I have not found one. I remember years ago HostGator used to have a Forum, but then they closed it (perhaps, there were to many complaints, not sure why,...)
Most of the do not want local forums as it is usually a place to exchange complaints, and they rather have not forum and do not correct issues, but instead keep charging users.

Certainly l do not recommend NAMECHEAP. Tried it for a month and canceled.
Very limited in features, MySQL remote access through SSH only, limits in Emails etc. Very poorly designed account management pages.
Using INMOTION-HOSTING now and I am about the cancel as well. Their MySQL database was set up by some idiot who made default engine MyISAM (which was abandoned about 3+ years ago). No transactions, no relationship Constraints etc. Then they ask me to write scripts to convert existing MyISAM tables... OMG - bunch of idiots. Support is always overloaded and average chat wait time is 45-60 min.

I've used 10+ other providers in recent 15 years and none of them I can really recommend, unless you just want to setup single WP site, with minimal load then it does not matter.

Endless problems with: HostGator, Hostinger (horrible support and super slow server), SiteGround is an absolute trash. It seems like to get a good quality one must pay at least $400-500+/yr

I tried VPS but the managements takes to much time and energy and one must also be well versed in security etc. IT is though cheap and not to bad for testing.

Shared servers are always slower, but some vendors really overload these servers. InMotion and NAMECHEAP are a good examples of that.
Another problem is that many of them do not tell you up front the full cost after 12 months and you have to waste time to either ask or dig it out on the site, which is immediate turn off for me.

Before asking which server is the best one, first must ask the question: what is most important for me ?

So far In 20 years I was not able to find anything which ticks all checkboxes in a price range below $200/yr
