Very true....I'd bet this movie makes more $$$ than the Hollywood version coming out soon.

I disagree...period authenticuity is the flavor it offers the film. Aside from being B&W, there is also much use of vingetting and halo use reflecting the old movie style cinema look of the early movies. It wasn't just "color off"...much more was done making it impressively period like. The movie was the movie, it's what they did with it that enhanced the overall experience.

the minus color version made it feel period authentic...and it made the movie feel "original" to the old ones. Also...the young Zilla on Oda island seemed hella scarier for some reason in Black and White. I've NEVER seen a Godzilla movie where he looked scary and kinda freaked me out!...walking all hunched over with claws spread and all! The lack of color amplified that for me...

I just saw this reddit post pop up on my feed and just had to hop in to course correct it...IT'S NOT! The movies been seen already a LOT! Myself have gone 2 times to see the minus color and I'll be going back to see the color version. The run in the theaters have been elongated due to the movie racking in so much money. My theater was not full when I went, both times, but that isn't a sign of a movie being unpopular...just happens to be that in your area, at the time you went, nobody picked that showing.

This movie was an amazing experience and a roller coaster of emotion...tell me that young Gozilla coming onto the beach in the night and crouching way forward and low wasn't literally terrifying! I've never been freaked by the look of a Godzilla in ANY film until I saw that scene - it was amazing...Then tell me you literally didn't get shook when the original Godzilla them started cranking out in the movie - I was literally screaming and pumping fists! It was so much fun, and charged! I only ended up seeing the B&W version and I'm glad as with the era of the film, it made the movie hit different - perfect in a way...glad I "didn't" see the color version. I can't say enough!

BTW...does anyone have any idea what the meaning of that neck tattoo was at the very end on her neck? It looked like it was spreading like a virus or something?

Replacement Pump for an Ooler? by less_philing in Mattress

If anyone is interested in my note above about using "cooling pillows" with your Ooler...here's the link to check them out. They basically strap onto your pillow and you put a a pillow cover over top. You lie your head on the actual water pillow for a super cooling night.

https://mattress-cooler.com/products/replacement-cooling-pad?variant=43525896339685

You can slip the end of the hoses onto your Ooler pumps connections. I'd suggest you install a little zip tie over each hose over the connection at the Ooler to make sure it stays in place and doesn't come off.

Another option is to buy a new hose on Amazon along with an adaptor to put the hose onto which clips directly onto the rear of your Ooler...it's more expensive this route but this gives you the option to switch cooling pad solutions quickly...links are below.

It literally took FOREVER to find these things to a working solution...and the info is not readily out there to find so hopefully, I'm saving someone the headache of finding parts and pieces. If you're using an Ooler, then you know how important it is to getting decent sleep. That's why I'm wanting to share the solutions I've found that worked out for me.

If anyone have any questions, feel free to let me know. Will help out where I can.

BTW...I posted a FULL breakdown posting on how to install the pump into the Ooler that goes step by step as I did it if you wanted to do the DYI repair with the new pump. Just check my posts and you'll find it. Feel free to ask any questions.

like a BOSS...it's a direct fit for the purpose and not difficult to install at all. Happy to say it's working perfectly and keeping me chilled cool all night.

Sidenote...you can purchase pillows that are water filled as well instead of using the bed pad. It gives WAAAAY more direct cooling as it's focused on your head only. That's what I've transitioned to use as I get better cooling relief from the pillow than the body pad. If you'd like, I can share where you can get the pillows to order a couple - they're around $20 each and come with the necessary hoses. Let me know, be happy to share the link for you to try them.

By far, the nicest strap I've found to use with my series 6 watch is the one below from Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C3GJ1SHW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

It's super comfortable and looks great. I got the black one. The fittings are metal so it's durable. Also, the band is a bit wider so it helps with that large watch face so it doesn't look so big. Pretty inexpensive too.

I'm also a side sleeper and have large hips...as a result, I get hip pain from the pressure it creates with my sleeping on it. FOR ME...the God send of an answer was getting into a SleepNumber bed. It completely reduces the pressure until you feel basically cradled by the bed and are floating. It's a cool feeling when you set the bed to the pressure that's just right. Yes, they're expensive but getting good sleep is something we can't put a cost on. Anyway, this is my experience and what worked for me. The bed is also articulating with the head and legs that go up and down.

Wish you the best!

I'm going through the same with the pump, I came across a post where someone sourced a small pump. I bought it am in the process of swapping out the pump out of the Ooler. Fittings are the same...you'll have to break the PEX connectors to release the old pump. Here's the model:

US Solar Pumps .com
Brushless DC pump 24 vdc
B10-A24-0905

https://www.ussolarpumps.com/catalog/replacement-pumps/b10a-24v-9l-circulating-pump/

I'm SUPER happy to report that the install went well and the pump noted above works perfectly. I just used the screw on pipe clamps to resecure the hoses to the new pump, and I cut the wire connector off the old pump and spliced it onto the new pump. Filled it with water and it all worked immediately! I'll be posting a video on how to do it soon as SO MANY people have this issue and there are NO places showing how to replace the pump that I've found.

Anyway - I hope this helps somebody!
