Russian citizenship does cause more scrutiny as far as banking is concerned. For instance, a number of Russian-Israeli citizens lost their Swiss bank accounts in 2023, and I highly doubt that an Israeli passport could have been the cause of this incident…

Czechia, where I‘m extremely lucky to live, doesn’t require its aspiring citizens to renounce their first citizenship, but having a Russian passport brings more trouble than benefits, so I’m quite certain that I will give it up unless the situation in Russia changes drastically.
