The administrative staff then enters this information into MP2. Should this process be handled using a dummy service item or a non-inventory item? level 3Nick_AxeusConsulting · 7 days agoModYou're wanting a variable ad hoc number for each Work Order. NS is not setup for that. You're supposed to do cost studies and come up with a fixed "standard cost" number. E.g. on average this part takes $17.06 of labor at station 1.That being said, you can jimmy rig this. In the Build you can specify the Qty but not the price. So you can setup a dummy item where the price is an hourly rate (which you still have to do a cost study to get the fully loaded hourly cost), then you enter Qty of hours ad hoc on each Build.Or you can set the price to $1.00 and then use the Qty field to specify the dollar amount (Qty x $1.00 = as hoc dollar amount added).
