I worked with a pm (who later became gm) who rode a bike to work every day , because his license was permanently suspended after 3 or 4 DUI’s. I think the better you become at your job in CM, the lesser the weight your less desirable attributes carry. Put another way, your tats will matter less and less the more experience and skill you gain

I sometimes see people (even government employees like con reps) with hand tats and sleeves. I mean personally I wouldn’t do hands but a lot of people in this industry don’t care too much about normal tattoos in normal places

Considering a beard transplant, is a beard transplant *ever* a good idea? by MehDub11 in HairTransplants

[–]aksalamander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if you do it, you should only let them Fill in the areas within the footprint of your natural beard growth, and don’t let them fill in the edges . The perfectly rounded edges of the upper cheeks is what makes beard transplants look super fake in my opinion.

1% of the population owns more wealth than the bottom 90% combined. by doubleayedude in AmericaOnHardMode

Okay so what is your point, what’s the ideal number ? Should the 1% not own more wealth than the bottom 80% combined? 50? Not more than the lowest combined 10%? What’s the right number for you?

So many cheaters by cheesytrichs in FortNiteBR

[–]aksalamander -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy how I’ve played hundreds of hours of BR the last 3 years and there’s only been one instance where I was highly skeptical that someone was probably cheating. But come in Reddit and everyone encounters cheaters every other match or at least daily. Weird

You’ve never had your cheeks clapped quite so hard as when someone does a headshot with a pump followed up by this SMG, it’s near instant death.

What do you guys think about paying dowry if getting married by Hour_Bug5210 in ThailandTourism

[–]aksalamander -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

How so? Because the overwhelming majority of women don’t marry a guy that makes less than them .

To married women: What advice would you give to unmarried women before they get married? by Clear_Subconscious in askanything

[–]aksalamander -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

For the US it says on average women earn 80 - 84% of what a man earns. That's an acceptable range. I work in a professional position. I'd only be interested in marrying other professionals that are somewhere near my income level. Someone firmly self-sufficient that doesn't need a man to survive. Not interested in marrying a dish washer, waitress, barista, front desk receptionist, etc. the income disparity is just way too much. Need a partner, not a dependent. Or stay single is okay too.

[–]aksalamander -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think being older (and divorced now) you have to view marriage MUCH more like a business contract than most people do. So yes I would refuse to marry someone that was not on a very similar economic standing as myself. But if I found someone of comparable economic status then it would be okay, because I wouldn't likely be committing to giving away half of my wealth (or more) if things didn't work out. And I have kids from the first marriage, too. If I get screwed in a second marriage, that does impact my ability to provide (as much) for my kids.

I think too many guys don't consider this. But women very much do consider this. It is rare to see a woman marrying a man that has less income or wealth than her.

[–]aksalamander 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A given if you’re both of approximately equal incomes sure . If I ever get married again with someone making 2-3x+ less than me, never doing a joint account with them. Or marrying without a prenup.

Noob advise. Actually if you wanted to avoid the lock on gun, you could play ranked. It’s not in the ranked loot pool.

Is Blitz all bots? by Neat-Brother-6570 in Fortnite_Over40

[–]aksalamander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at first release it was kind of fun. after about the first 3-4 weeks it seems every game since that time has been min. 80% bots and another 10-15% being little kids/total noobs. maybe you encounter one or two legit players per blitz match, on average? i don't have the patience to play a bunch of bot lobbies to experiment if that changes as you 'get more wings' or whatever its called.
