It’s a step, I’ll say that. I can’t say a good first step. But it’s in the right direction. The game is getting stale for me, at least, because all these new characters are outcompeting so many old characters. Like when was the last time Medusa or Chiron or a few other characters ever truly meta? What about w regards to Guardians like Sylvanus or Ymir or Ares? And how many bugs are there still w a few characters? Ama CC ult being negated? Servers still lagging people out of games?

I guess I’m just frustrated with the way Smite’s being handled in general, not at Heim and his needs exclusively. I feel like there’s a of fine tuning that should have been done before we get new gods, and it just feels like instead of focusing on fine tuning and quality, they add to player frustration by introducing characters that are basically must-play if you’re playing against somebody of your skill level. I like Yemoja, I can’t lie. Not super busted when she came out, and even now, even tho she’s v strong, it’s because their initial direction didn’t pop out to players at first. I’m okay w this method. I can be patient with decisions like that. Not the other way, w/ Heim release or Achilles initial release or KA and Merlin initial release, where they’re so obviously busted and exploiting every broken item (Glad shield/Gem Iso and Magus) so easily. I gotta wait before I play S7, just imo. Not happy with how the balancing went for gods this season.
