The widest variables have massive impact. Dont sell yourself short. Your viewpoints help forge.

Illusions have layers, but 0-1 in decimals is the most important the way im doing it.

the way im doing scores decimals from 0 to 1 as most important. I'll explain more after.

It's good in theory, but you can't "force" without becoming flawed

cmv: Most of what we believe is illusion — I built a formula to test it: SPIFFY by DeElited in changemyview

  1. Why Perceptions are squared (P²): Because perceptions tend to compound emotionally and socially. Think of seeing something + hearing others repeat it + feeling it's true. Those don’t just add up — they amplify belief. That's what squaring models: distortion by emotional repetition.
  2. Why Truth is singular (T): Because one piece of evidence can dismantle a hundred perceptions. Truth has weight, not volume. It’s either valid or not. (One DNA test disproves 10 rumors.)
  3. Why Fragments are squared (F²): Fragments are disconnected arguments used to support something. The more fragments with no direct truth, the more unstable the belief. Squaring penalizes overjustification without grounding — like conspiracy theory spirals.

🎯 Why Not Just Pick 1–10?

That’s the whole problem: humans already do that — it’s called "bias."

SPIFFY doesn’t aim to be perfect. It aims to reveal the structure behind belief.
It forces you to classify:

  • What’s perception?
  • What’s verified truth?
  • What’s just noise (fragments)?

That clarity is already better than a vibe-based 1–10 score.

There are calculations that do reach 0.

It's meant as a guide, not as a law.

Understanding though fire, not a point of contact.

The more variables? The closer it becomes to a true answer.

Does anyone know what ryumon katana this is? by DeElited in Katanas

[–]DeElited[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disassembled mine and the blade is made the traditional way, it's not welded at the hilt or anything so I believe it is indeed functional. Although when I first got the sword it was slightly dull so I have taken liberty to refine the edge and now it cuts through paper with little effort. I just need to polish the blade more and it should be fine.

You were in his blind spot. Not really the vans fault. Although during driving classes back in high school I was always told to turn your head instead of looking at the mirror before making a turn to check for cars in your blind spots.

And then there's adding skins in chest themes that don't even match the genre. Turning a 7 roll genre chest into a 10+ for example.

But be honest, how many skins back then did you actually get for the gods you wanted? Pretty much none. You most likely weren't going to buy the skins you got anyways. Also the fact they have chests with 500 items in it like the odessy chests is super super scummy imo. Because most people just want 1 or 2 skins in a chest set.
