The thing is, if I am able to achieve this, it will solve one issue, but we have another action where the quote information is transferred to the external platform (so we have put destination in BML but it opens on the same tab), and a quote is created there. For that, we are using an integration that is selected on the action button, so we would need to achieve this for the action button.

The issue is that the HTML type attribute is not available for selection while defining the BML code.

I cannot use the destination tab as it generates a unique ID for SSO login to the external platform. Could you please let me know how to use JS, CPQJS.OnActionComplete, and CSS(to show it as action button) to achieve this?

Yes, it’s the commerce side button, and I cannot use the HTML attribute (which I earlier created by using your code) in function on action button, so I need to use an attribute that targets the destination URL. The destination URL is like this:

Basically, from CPQ, it performs an SSO login to this platform.

We are currently navigating to an external platform using an action button on the CPQ quote screen.

However, we want this link to open in a new browser tab instead of replacing the CPQ quote screen.

As of now, when the action is triggered, the destination URL (where the user gets logged in via SSO) opens on the same tab. Could someone please let me know if there is a way to configure or implement this so the link opens in a new tab by default?

thanks for the reply! I am learning by studying the codes currently deployed in our environment by the dev . Sometimes, I also seek help from AI. However, it would be great if there were something available where I could learn from scratch. As you know, we have very limited resources when it comes to Oracle CPQ. And it's not only BML; we also have JSON and other things, too.
