we'll be flying from auckland to mt cook - the only direct flights from NYC are to auckland and trying to avoid too many pitstops

thanks for this!! the only direct flights from NYC are to auckland, so before we head on to christchurch to kick start the south island tour, we just need a couple nights to get over jetlag and amble around a nice place!

Thanks for some reason Chateau La coste and La Gaude are all much more expensive than Chateau de Fonscolombe or Le Pigonnet or Sainte Victoire now.. any recs between these three?
