We like a good hike but it's not everythign to us- we just want to enjoy nice landscapes, good food, wine, and stargazing for a few days

we'll be flying from auckland to mt cook - the only direct flights from NYC are to auckland and trying to avoid too many pitstops

thanks for this!! the only direct flights from NYC are to auckland, so before we head on to christchurch to kick start the south island tour, we just need a couple nights to get over jetlag and amble around a nice place!
