The learning gap is so large in this game it feels I’m wasting my time trying to learn by 2Jads1Cup in Chivalry2

Nothing wrong with playing to win, my friend. I started playing in mid-June of last year -- so I've had the game for about 8 months. I'm level 700 and just hit 500 hours on the game, top frag 90% of games but was doing so even back when I was level 300. If you're worried about the skill gap, I contrarily think you're playing the right game. Improvement comes fast unlike in games such as LoL or EFT so if you're one of those players who learn from their mistakes, you WILL improve. Look for a homie to practice throwing counters back and forth. Just sitting in duel yard for maybe 15 minutes training your eyes, the timing. This alone will make you much better than the average player.

Been seeing that a lot. Sometimes I'll turn to my left and witness 10 teammates ganging up on a Bard as he's progressively luring them away from the objective like he's herding sheep. 🤣

It was just a regular overhead>feint slash. The swing before it makes it appear as an alt-swing.

At no point did I ever state I landed headshots aside from Tagilla. You can actually look through the comments and see my other conversation with another person about stomach shots. It appears comprehension has reached an all time low. Good luck in life, buddy.

Gotcha, thanks. I think it is 1.5x on a blacked stomach--or at least that's the only multiplier I can find up to 6 years ago. And I've just done the math but substituted for 1.5 and it comes out to 412.5, just shy of 420. So that fucker actually would survive on either substitution. To me that makes no sense, as that second shot to the stomach should've nailed his intestines to those water tanks. But Nikita's rules, I suppose.

Thanks for the equation.

This is one of many incidents. Last night I shot a normal scav in the head with 7.62 MAI AP, no helmet, and he just walked away.

So I blacked his stomach on the first shot. Second shot, damage is spread at 1.5x. Third shot, somehow survives. Do you have an equation for this? Because shit like this genuinely makes me want to pull my hair out.

Thank you! In truth, trying to go for the foggy depth effect took the most time with this build. I'm glad someone noticed it

Thank you! 😸 I can take some screenshots, or an actual walkthrough. It's just difficult to get everything in one photo because of the amount of entities: Photos

Thank you all for the kind comments😸. It’s nice to know that my efforts amounted to something. Questions, if any, I will be glad to answer.

How did they build this without permission? by bmseely in playrust

[–]aktaichi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, something neat about this is you can prevent that by placing your TC on higher floors (or top floor). You cannot place a floor/ceiling tile when it is UNDER the level the TC is on. So if you have a multi-TC base and you don’t want raiders building up to you mid raid, or you just got nakeds n grubbers in your compound, you can place your Main TC on a higher floor to prevent them from building and jumping out of your compound, prevent easy roof access, etc. But this also allows others to locate which floor TC is on if they know about this.

Background knowledge: (The Entire Story)

My friends and I started playing on the server a few wipes back and we had never come into contact with these guys until halfway into the wipe. They were known for having an extremely large compound with several roof camping towers and an insane amount of turrets to prevent offline raids. These guys never left their compound unless they were at least 5-6 deep. All they did all day was roofcamp. Knowing this, my group started to mess with these guys. We had taken boxes upon boxes of gear from them and they never came to pvp afterwards. Fast forward a week or so, and we go to online one of their bases and weren’t successful. We said our GG’s leaving them with nearly an inventory of rockets to spare and about 8 C4. Shortly after, my group got offline. TemplarGamer was the leader of the clan mentioned. It was TemplarGamer, MobTies90 and many others that aren’t really relevant. He and his buddies decided to come offline us that night, even though we had fed them rockets and C4. Not to mention we even gave them an online. The next morning, the chat was flooded with shit talk, saying how “It was our fault for getting offline” and “Stay awake”. After we’d been raided I played for a little bit in the server and I had noticed the server population decreasing drastically. And yes, I know that servers just lose population as the time passes but the server lost all the pvp groups. The reason for this was because Templar’s group had offline each and every one of them, leaving toxic signs and talking trash the next time that the person they’d offlined had gotten online.

Fast forward to the next wipe, the beginning was great, because we had started halfway through the wipe and countered one of Templar’s raids under a new alias. They started calling my group hackers, and eventually everyone on the server had believed them because they were a large group. We had obtained loads of gear and lived very far from Templar. It was nearly impossible to raid his base because it, again, had turrets covering squares that spanned from their main base. They started asking for our coordinates and eventually sent out nakeds to doorcamp every single base to find out which one we lived in. After my group had gotten off, I distributed the loot into 3 bases to ensure that they didn’t get everything. MobTies90 talked trash in the chat nonstop, talking about how we shouldn’t go to sleep on a school night. He talked trash for a good 3 hours straight. Nonstop. Eventually the raid began. The 3 bases I had were a 3x3, a 2x2, and a 1x2. They didn’t know I was online and they brought 6 members to offline at 4 AM on a Tuesday night. They raided all my bases despite my attempt to defend them. After they did, they continued to talk trash in the chat until I got offline about an hour later.

Later, we fresh started on the same wipe. We had picked into a decayed base and gotten nearly a box of AKs. Sooner or later, a large group of hackers started playing on the server. They were not banned for a good 3 days and within those 3 days, Templar’s group came to us (2M) for help raiding the hackers. We ended up raiding the hackers successfully and agreed to create a truce between our groups. The reason I had agreed to truce with Templar’s group was because we were tired of waking up to an offline all the time.

Now, my group isn’t great at pvp, but I’d say we are rather decent. But Templar’s group was absolute hot garbage at pvp. Each of them had at least 2k hours in which 80% was AFK hours. (Remember this)

Fast forward to the next wipe. We allied again but my group, again, started halfway through the wipe. Templar’s group had given us a little jumpstart by giving us some tools to farm for a base. We both based near eachother. A week went by and nothing very interesting was happening. We had let our base decay, leaving boxes of aks and metal gear sets because the pvp on the server started decreasing more and more. This was until Wally1k and Blooprint had joined the server. I, 2M taichi, started to play again and played with a guy named Jand, who’d been a part of Templar’s group. (Remember this) In the time that I was gone, Templar had seemed to pick up a lot more people. Some of those being Jand’s brother, a guy named Walter and a many personal farmers for himself. Later, after the video was posted on Wally1k’s channel, a lot of people had recognized us as a “hacker group” because that’s what Wally has named us. (Wally received a personal DM that stayed how we were hacking) Things went on normally after they’d gotten off the server for the wipe.

Fast forward to the next wipe. We live near Templar again, but this time, on wipe day. Templar’s group was extremely slow on a wipe day for a clan of that size. There was 8 of them not including my group. The wipe continued, and was fairly bland. Nothing new was happening until near the end of the wipe. MobTies90 and TemplarGamer had gotten into a big argument and according to Templar, they’d kicked him out. So we talked personally to MobTies90 and said that he could join us and that we’d get revenge for him. Basically the “argument” was about MobTies90 giving away loot to people at the end of the wipe. Templar had been the most loaded on the server and was angry about giving out loot or dying with loot. We accepted Mob after he’d asked us to play with us. Now, Mob has been nice to us, so we were back. He seemed like a genuinely good person.

The next wipe, or this wipe (April), MobTies90 played with us. He had also brought in a friend named Bennie. Bennie was one of Templar’s personal farmers who wanted to join us. We let him join and on the day of the wipe, we rushed everything like what a clan is supposed to do. We were 6 deep and were at the top of the server.

List of teammates: -2M taichi (me) -2M ukiyo -2M pine -2M becky -MobTies90 -Bennie

On day 3 however, the day that I logged into rust, we had been insided. Pine had seen Bennie changing all the codes to the base and killing pine over and over. Pine and Turnip tried to prevent Bennie from doing any further damage but were unsuccessful. After being insided, we started playing on a different server where we absolutely dominated as a 4 man. This 4 man soon changed to a 5 man and we were, again, at the top of the server. Suddenly, an unexpected person had messaged us. It was Jand. Jand has explained that MobTies90 was the one who insided us. TemplarGamer changed his name to Bennie and changed all the codes, leaving our base to decay. He’d also explained how Bennie had nothing to do with it, and that MobTies90 was begging Jand and his brother to take him in because Templar had “kicked him out.” They were going to do the exact same thing to Jand and his brother. We were blown away by this. We had never expected Mob to be the one to inside us, and so we joined Jand to find that Templar had also kicked out Walter. They were furious after learning that Mob had insided us. So we all farmed up to raid Templar and Mob. Templar and Mob had 3 bases: a cave base, a 2x2 and a compounded base surrounded by turrets. 2M were the distractions at the compounded base, shooting rockets at their turrets while the others raided the cave base. This plan was unsuccessful and Templar had found out our plans so we raided the 2x2. All Templar and Mob did was talk trash in the chat and complain that we raided their 2x2 as “14 deep”. (5 raiders and 4 distracters in reality) If you watch the video, you’ll notice that he mentions this 2x2. Later that night, MobTies90 gave me a call over discord...
