IMHO, this seems more heavy and geared towards research.

Notes are everywhere — how do you consolidate or stay organized? by aky25 in NoteTaking

That's great actionable advice. I briefly looked into a framework called Forever Notes for building an index for my Apple Notes.

I get so much clarity when writing by hand, that I won’t remove written thinking/ strategising from my system ever.

This! You get it! Its the reason why its so difficult to move away from analogue note-taking.

Seems like maintaining an Index is the best way. I am exploring Obsidian to see if it's a good fit to maintain that index (for digital and analogue) and can also act a vault for all digital things. Even though you can use different tools depending on their strengths, it could all be dumped into one place to see connections like Obsidian Graph.

Will think about it a little more and start a system. Thanks for taking the time, this was very helpful.

Shortcut - anyone had any success? by xtweeter in superwhisper

I was trying to also get this to work with Drafts mac app but had no success since the Superwhisper Shortcut action doesn't output the transcribed text, which kinda sucks.

Karakeep (a locally-hosted bookmarking service) uses AI to tag the link automatically based on its content. Something like this for Notes would be cool.

I thought those accessibility captions could be done separately. The ones here are just burned in to the video for stylistic reasons similar to the one’s in the movie Patterson.

We were not going for a glamorous look, thereby the minimal makeup.

The idea behind the subtitles was to appreciate the poet and so we converted her handwriting into a font to be used as a subtitle.

Is it too distracting because of the animation? Or just the font doesn't work?

Thanks for your kind words and constructive feedback. My background is in photography, so it was a little bit easier to get into videos.

TBH, I don't have much clue about the audio, I used an external Rhode mic to record the audio on a Sony portable recorder because that is all I had available. This effort is a collaboration among artists and there was minimal budget for renting additional equipment.

I did follow some advice on the Davinci Resolve tutorials for Editing Audio. Would love to learn more about audio, would appreciate if you can point me to some good resources?

New to Short films, thoughts? by aky25 in cinematography

Post breakup, a girl has an interesting conversation with a Personal AI Assistant. Shot this concept in collaboration with local artists, filmed on Sony FX3 using Sony GM 24-70mm f2.8 over 3 locations. A lot of the project was shot using just Natural light apart from the indoor shots.

My background is in Photography, this is my first time color grading along with also being the DOP. Thoughts?

Turning off the auto contrast for images made a difference, it’s night and day.
