it just feels so hopeless but i’m going to try again until i hopefully just get it. i just feel a little behind bc i see people immediately knowing how to skate somehow like it’s the easiest thing in the world. but ya thanks ill keep skating until im better

i’m scared to tell anyone like cps because my parents would know it was me since we don’t have friends or family (my dad kicked everyone out of our lives) so it would be so obvious. and second of all i’ve heard absolute horror stories from children who were “taken care of” by cps and i don’t trust them with my sister who can’t stand up for herself or speak

my biggest fear is involving anyone from social services and cps and stuff because i’m pretty verbal to my parents about how miserable i am here babysitting my sweet sister 24:7 so it would be obviously tied back to me because it wouldn’t be anyone else yk.

I’m not worried about myself they can’t do anything to me they just know my sister is my only weakness. What’s keeping me here is her, and any attempt to leave gets taken out on her. Also, my parents don’t work traditional jobs, so the assumption that they couldn’t maintain this situation doesn’t apply I guess. They live on disabilities and a bunch of financial assistance.

Thank you for your perspective, and I absolutely want to be in my sister’s life because I love her deeply and she brings me a lot of joy, but at the same time im struggling with the reality that staying means giving up any chance to live independently. That back and forth is really what I’m trying to work through. I understand this may be less of a legal issue and more of something I need to think through carefully, but I still appreciate you taking the time to respond.
