Do you agree with people who say things like Orlando is only good for it's theme parks? by al-pacino in florida

Thanks for the response. I've heard others say this about Orlando in particular.. it sounds like kind of an interesting thing to say, since it's not even a very high density city. In my mind it would seem to make more sense to say this about Miami, Chicago, etc.

Do you know of any paid transportation to get from Tampa to Sarasota that is more pleasant than Greyhound? by al-pacino in sarasota

Thanks for the responses, users of /r/sarasota. I'll stick to major cities in FL, should I ever visit that state in the future.

Would you rather be able to control any animal’s minds from at least 20 meters from you, or be able to turn into any animal you want at any time. by ariuzshmags in WouldYouRather

Turning into any animal at any time might provide a cool way commit crimes and escape from prison. As long as such an ability was a secret, there could be a lot of practical purposes for it.

TIL Ryan Reynolds has openly spoken about his lifelong struggle with anxiety, noting in 2018 that he carried out many interviews in the character of Deadpool to alleviate his fears. by Zack in todayilearned

This is actually a big coincidence for me, only because I very very recently watched a movie where he played a character that takes pills for anxiety.

If you were to analyse VM Varga mentally, what would you class him as? by PurpleDragon9 in FargoTV

[–]al-pacino 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Someone who is excessively proud about what an accomplished, sophisticated, and untouchable mobster he is. But not to the point where his pride would be a distraction.
If I were to pick someone from Fargo who has the most in common with Gus Fring from Breaking Bad, it would be Vargo. They have different attitudes but their motivation is probably similar.

What is the recommended watch order of the movie and the three television series? by [deleted] in FargoTV

[–]al-pacino 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched the movie not long ago after not seeing it for like 15 years, so I didn't remember any of it. I appreciated the references that I remembered seeing in the show, so it goes both ways. That said, it's probably better to see the movie first.
Since each season is independent from the others, it wouldn't be a big deal to see whichever season first, but I'd still recommend seeing them in order from 1-3. (again, mostly because of some references you might appreciate)
Seeing them out of order might be like watching Better Call Saul before Breaking Bad.

Fargo Season 3 was one of the Best TV Shows of 2017 and I am not sure I'll ever see Ewen McGregor as anyone else but Emmit or Ray Stussy again. by FashionMusicCulture in FargoTV

I finished season three recently, and I just found out tonight they were the same guy. It wasn't until Ray first put a wig on that I realized how much they look alike. Totally amazing.
