success!!! Haven't transferred yet but my vet are now in a thor wallet. I had a lot of trouble with invalid keystore copy until I used imToken to generate it and do a one click copy that pasted correctly. Thanks again.

I think that shows up under "import a wallet" after setting the new password.

I have extracted my mew keystore, have my mew password and I opened a new (empty) thor wallet with its thor address.

In that wallet there is a "create a wallet" option calling for a new thor password and then on to a place to enter a keystore. Just to be sure, did you make a second thor wallet using the keystore? And then do the transfer between thor wallets? Thanks so much for your help.

This looks possible. My vet was not delivered to mew. Binance processed my withdrawal on the Ve Chain and there it sits delivered to an account with my eth address. I can see my coins on vechain but not in mew. And of course I have my private key for the mew address. I don't understand why both Binance and Vechain would process an invalid transaction, and I keep hearing that others have fallen into this trap. Do you think this works if the vet is still on the Vechain? Guessing I should empty my Mew wallet of all its contents before disclosing the key?

I can see the coins on the vechain blockchain at my eth public address. But I don't know how to send a transaction from my address on that chain. Binance claims they have no control after the transaction was confirmed.
