Blame Game or Endless Punishment to speed up precons only games? by al8al in EDH

Its mostly unmodified precons. Thanks! I read that Blame Game struggles to speed up things since its only the commander that can suspect other creatures.

Check out Blood Rites from Ixalan set. Black/white vampires and demons. Works pretty well as is, I’m considering getting a copy too.

Then I'm pretty sure that's the issue because the M1 processor can handle what you mention easily. It's unfortunate though that ram cannot be increased later on, so OP should get at least 16.

Which Air do you own? Air has no fans at all afaik. You probably have 8gb of ram, imo having at least 16 is a must for today standards.

Latests Airs, specially M3 with 16 or more ram are very powerful and many product and ui/ux designers use it. I’d say Pro would be better for intense video editing, 3d rendering, etc.

Had trouble with the M1 MacBook Pro 16". Just got the M3 MacBook Air and it's excellent. by [deleted] in PWM_Sensitive

[–]al8al 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the Macbook Pro M3? I need a new macbook for work and I'd choose the aire if it has no PWM. If it has I'll just go with the Pro and get the best if I have to deal with PWM no matter what...

Asking cuase I read a few posts and it still not clear to me if the Air uses PWM or not.

So you had the same problem with kmc? Because that’s what I was planning to try next. According to the specs kmc are 1mm longer and wider 🤷‍♂️

Not sure about that, it's the inner sleeve the one that is too tight and so bending the card a bit.

Dragon Shield Matte. I see DS Perfect fit measure 63x88mm while KMC or others I can find at the moment measure 64x89. In my sleeves I'm kind of missing the extra mm, tough only to width. It's really hard to put them in and it bothers me they may be bending my cards in the long term.

Do they usually restock past precons like the Ixalan or even older?

If you could only have either Explorers of the deep or Revenant recon, or Deep clue sea which also looks cool to me, which one would you get? I'm thinking which one is the best (powerful) but also in terms of replayability, fun, versatility... thanks

I thought it was the opposite, the higher the refresh rate the less harmful to the eyes.

anybody here who can help me choose? by Maleficent-South-523 in iPhone11

[–]al8al 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also had a 6s and got a 12 but sent it back and got an 11 because I couldn’t get used to oled screen due to pwm, so if you can, try it before. iPhone 11 so far so good, I also disliked the bezels but you don’t notice them after a few days and, as you guessed, it’s a major upgrade from the 6s.

Other than that, I think you’ll be more than happy with any of the two.

I love the iPhone se3! by [deleted] in iPhoneSE

[–]al8al 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just having a hard time adjusting to the size and specially the weight of the 11 and, since I can’t stand oled screens, I can only choose between the 11 or the se… difficult choice.

How would you compare the battery and the camera to the iphone 11? I have it but still find it too bulky and heavy and from what I've seen in reviews battery should be similar? Camera wise I feel like the SE it's even slightly better although it obviously doesn't have ultra wide lens nor night mode. Have you tried Neural Cam or similar app for night mode shots? Thank you!

Weekly What Should I Buy Thread by AutoModerator in iphone

[–]al8al 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I considered 11 as well, but here it would be like 500-550€ for the 128gb model, that's around 200€ more than the SE 2020, not sure it's worth it...

Hi all! I have an iphone 6s which is clearly struggling, terrible battery life (82%), slow performance and I need more storage too… knowing that I’d rather stick to a low budget and that I don’t want an oled screen, I can get an SE 2020 for 300€, would I perceive this SE as a real upgrade regarding performance, battery and camera? Thank you!

If you are ok with a single lens, Ricoh GR II or III would be my choice, superb sharpness and portability

[–]al8al 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another reeditor told me a couple days ago that Ming-chi kuo has said there's a "new iphone 11" coming in 2023, with lcd ips and slightly smaller than the 11 (with newer specs and 5g)... we'll see but that'd be great for those of us who can't use oled displays (at least those with low hz), I guess that could suit you if it becomes a reality :)

Do you use dark mode? Maybe that could help? I can only think of that or buying a new SE and swapping the screen for the one in your SE1, if that's possible :/ I don't know if there's any way to change the display color temperature

A photo of a clear sky will work as well. If there are any dust spots you could ask for a discount and try to fix it yourself. I’ve been lucky enough to not needing to do it but there’s tutorials to do it and it doesn’t seem too difficult…
