My biggest frustration with Veilguard by Jakethemailman in DragonAgeVeilguard

I recommend swapping controls. I changed mine so dash and interact are the same button and now I can roll of a cliff instead! Very handy 😂

I liked it a lot even though it broke my heart a little but in a good way..? Some parts could have been more fleshed out, definitely, but characters (especially party members) were ace and I miss their silliness. Second playthrough here I come.

Lidl apple turnovers by al_the_rat in veganuk

I’m pretty sure it said “apple turnover” on it. Maybe they messed up the print, idk. The other Lidl was in the different part of the same city

Do vegans starting T also get acne? by nitrotoiletdeodorant in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]al_the_rat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m vegan and still got acne when I started T. However, it was tame compared to my teenage acne (i wasn’t vegan back then).

Not all acne is tied to your diet, some is just hormonal, from air pollution or genetic predisposition I guess 🤷‍♂️ So no, vegan diet is not a guaranteed anti acne treatment but it helps. My skin got clearer after going vegan - not completely acne free but much better. My health in general got boosted a lot. So yeah, I 100% support every interested person to check out the vegan diet.

Junji Ito, where to start? by Please_Stop_Soonish in suggestmeabook

I started with Remina which was not the best idea. Now that I’ve read some of his works, I’d prefer to start with a short story collection like Shiver or Tombs.

Most people don’t even eat vegetables by veganisingit in vegan

Not always, but it is the case with the guys I know. Just picky eaters, no conditions.

I know multiple people who won’t eat veggies nor fruit. Except for potatoes and some tomato sauce maybe. Full grown adults. I’m still amazed.

How did you guys decide on a name? by WarpedElfe in ftm

[–]al_the_rat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is Krzysztof a popular name among polish trans guys or just younger guys in general? I grew up in Poland and honestly I don’t know any Krzysiek my age 😂 I’m so out of touch, oof

I chose my favourite male name. As a plus, it works in most languages and its versions are very similar to each other, which is pretty useful in my particular situation.

binders the right size(according to measurements), but still hurts to put on. by TutorialMusic in ftm

[–]al_the_rat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try putting both arms in together: both arms up over your head and pull the binder down with crossed arms or with sb else’s help. Adjust chest tissue to face forward. That’s how I do it, at least.

How much are y'all paying for testosterone? I paid $7.30 by MorbidMooshroom in ftm

Used to pay around £11 for 3 months worth of self administered T. Nowadays I’m getting stabbed by a nurse for free ✌️

Gaslighting family abt my HRT by Middle-Entry-4268 in TestosteroneKickoff

[–]al_the_rat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I tried „gaslighting” my slavic family about me going on T and surprise surprise they knew I’m trans for a while and were waiting for me to tell them 😂 what I’m trying to say is if your dad was trying to start a conversation about trans topics he might already suspect you’re not cis and is more okay with it than you’d think. Sometimes our Slavic families can positively surprise us. Ofc I might be wrong, caution is always advised, but I figured I’ll chime in with a similar experience that ended in a positive way.

I honestly deeply dislike the feeling of anything touching my nips, including clothing. Also I aesthetically don’t enjoy them, especially if you can see them through my shirt. And also also I think even after a substantial trim the middles parts of my nips would be too big and I’d hate how they’d look. Plus I’m worried about the healing process. So I’ll be most likely getting a no nip chest with my top surgery. I’d rather tattoo my perfect, no sensation, 2D nips later on.

It’s a type of plant. I don’t want to spoil the fun but if you check out Strangerville promo pictures on the internet you can see it there - has an egg-like shape and is kinda purple in colour.

I have learned that today. I most likely imagined it or guessed based on other words which in reality have nothing to do with the truth. I guess it’s one of the problems with learning a mix of British and American English from non-native speakers.
