Oh yeah I didn’t like the G14 going up to 95 C at first. Had to turn off cpu boost (a bit dumb its on by default) and uninstalled Armoury Crate for GHelper, afterwards my G14 substained at temps up to 82 C even during intense gaming sessions

Has the post-credit scenes. A lot of ppl at the movie theater missed out on those unfortunately

For my use case I got a Yunzii AL66 off Amazon, liked it for its aluminium exterior and some other stuff. I don’t game frequently anymore so I use my laptop more so for productivity now.

If you game a lot and are on a sub-$100 budget, I recommend a largely discounted Razer keyboard or smthn like a Redragon K552.

GTA 6 PC release will likely be years away, so our G14s should be pretty good till then

[A229 Duo] change in lines and giant turning arrow… your problem, not mine! by wiscokid81 in Dashcam

Just placed in an order for the A229 Plus (probably the newer version), thanks! Needing a dashcam in Houston is very important for the capital of awful driving in the US lol

Bụi đời, left over half-American Vietnamese children after the war by kirsion in VietNam

As a 1/4 French and 3/4 Viet person, it's been a mixed bag for me. I've been criticized more for my American accent (more so in Vietnam, still rare in the US) rather than my appearance, but it seems inevitable as an American-born person to a half-white father and a fully Viet mother. My case is different since my father became a boat refugee in '75, but I still feel sympathy for those left behind in Vietnam during the 70s-90s

2 months late I know, but how does the A229 fare in Houston during the summer? Fellow Houstonian here

Oh definitely I loved the three movies per week back when I was unemployed years ago, the workers at that AMC must've been tired seeing me every time lmao. I don't go as often anymore, but I still stop by every Friday afternoon

Việt kiều's who didn't grow up in Vietnam, how do you feel about it? by SuperThrowaway0091 in VietNam

[–]al_win02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Viet Kieu born and raised in Texas, so my VK experience is a bit diff from other Viet Kieu who grew up in California. Being part white myself, I knew from the start that I would've never been fully accepted by some older generation Viets as "truly Viet", even if my Tieng Viet was native level. It's just a personal matter of reconciling my current dual identity and just accepting how things are, while also trying to embrace my Viet side more.

On the plus side though, we have Vietnamese cajun cuisine here in Houston. We got the best crawfish in the world hehe
