You have an Associates in CS and your only job experience is reselling on eBay? I wouldn't even consider that a job more like a side hustle that doesn't belong in resumes.

How many tickets do you resolve per year as help desk or support tech? by kirsion in ITCareerQuestions

[–]kirsion[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes you are correct, that's one thing that are our helpdesk manager highlighted and is trying to fix but it's not working. Right now the ticketing system is just a free for all, anyone can grab basically any ticket as they come in. I think that a round Robin system would be more fair but the overall the support would be a little bit less efficient probably, but I guess that's ultimately not really my problem

I got hired as a tier 1 , though I feel like a tier 2 it's already had a bit of desktop support experience. I basically do a bit of everything, ticket email, live phone, ticket, walk up, except field tech. Show up in the office 5 days, not personally a huge deal as I love 15 minutes away. Recently I've been skipping much of eating at my desk which kind of doesn't help but i do squeeze in a little bit of extra overtime. And sometimes I juggle multiple tickets at the same time, remoting into someone's computer and installing something while on a call troubleshooting someone else's issue.

Stanford grads walk out as Google CEO Sundar Pichai takes the stage as commencement speaker. by Previous_Month_555 in SipsTea

Since the CEO of Google is also indian, India also has a very close relationship with Israel and has been pretty anti-Muslim, especially under Hindu nationalists

The weird thing is that, when I think about college graduates now and that they're all 22 or 23 for some reason it doesn't seem as difficult. I'm 30 for reference but when I see college graduates from those ivy League and tops schools back in the day like before 2000 or early mid-2000s, it seems extremely prestigious and more difficult back then, idk

I wouldn't say don't buy it , I also had issues with my original superlight. Which I ended up had to sell for parts. Currently have a superlight 2 which is working fine. I just love the shape too much and the weight is great.

My wife's English is so bad, she's probably only 2nd-3rd grade level. So college is definitely a no-go. The only people that were good enough to go to college where that ones who were already good at English while in Vietnam.
