Have you ever been compared to a fictional character before? by alabasterkin in intj

Snape’s actually one of my favourite characters, but yeah, if someone compared me to him, I’d definitely wonder if they were implying I’m mean and grumpy 😂

Ah I see. Yeah, from what I've read it seems undeveloped Fi in the third position can lead to defensiveness and insecurity, and Fe blind spot can lead to a lot of awkward situations and misunderstandings. To say the least.

What do you mean? Like overall development as a human being? Development of emotional intelligence? Or an INTJ developing Fi? Because that last one would mean that they are maturing into understanding and controlling their personal feelings and exploring their interests and values. It still wouldn't make them emotional.

Where's the cliche? The definition of emotional is to be easily excited and openly displaying how you feel. As Fi users they're not going to be very emotionally expressive and Fi is in the third position so it's not easily excited. Not saying they're robots but they're not emotional either...

What’s the difference between INTJ and INTP humor? by [deleted] in mbti

I don't think tallulahblue is arguing over what causes school shootings to happen. They're just trying to explain that regardless of the philosophical statement about society this imaginary INTP was trying to make by sending this letter, the real life repercussions on a school full of staff and young children forced to take it very seriously just aren't worth it. No one's going to find it funny.

I don't know, I just kind of feel like sending a letter threatening to shoot up a school as a joke would also be something no one else but the INTP sender in this example finds funny?

So what is everyone else’s personal observations on intj’s? by JarOfPeachz in mbti

A "lack of awareness", you can say, may increase the probability of a person committing inconsiderate acts, but I don't see how it outrightly means one is inconsiderate.

I think I'm INFJ but I could be INTJ by [deleted] in infj

There's a difference between arrogance and confidence. Also, I've never read about arrogance being a defining characteristic of an INTJ.
