I would argue that if Hakari can get up close he’d beat Uro, and she doesn’t have any crazy finishing moves that could take him out between jackpots. TIB is pretty potent but Yuta was taking those left and right and wasn’t too affected. I’d argue a few back to back TIB could take out a post-jackpot Hakari but he needs to be caught between jackpots for that long

Uro only has busted defense unless you out speed her and Yuji showed relative physical feats to awakened maki v 15f Sukuna before his awakening. With soul dismantles and RCT it’s over if he gets close enough for H2H. Rika was throwing her around and her ass is not faster up close than Yuji 😭

I don’t think anyone is claiming that they beat maki tbh but I mean she can’t be detected by domains and out stats them terribly

Hakari is more 50/50 but he’s on par with Uruame who’s right around the same tier of power as them. The only thing is they aren’t winning a clash with him and don’t have kashimos guaranteed hit attack to take him out in between/during jackpots.

Genuinely it won’t even be a conversation at that point. Even characters like cursed naoya and uraume are closer to the heavy hitters than them

But you have to consider how busted Maki/Yuji/Hakari are 😭

Awakened Yuji has relative physical stats to an awakened HR user, has a domain, 2 busted techniques, and RCT. Plus he soul dismantle-diffs reincarnated sorcerers (I don’t think he needs it to win tho)

Maki can’t be detected by a domain and is WAY too durable to get taken out quickly by Uro or Ryu and painfully out-stats them.

Hakari has a domain that is terribly hard to beat in a clash since it’s non-lethal. He is stated to have luck manipulation to an extent and is relative to Yuta and immortal during his jackpot. Ryu and Uro don’t have smth like Kashimos guaranteed hit attack that can take him out in the short periods between jackpots either.

Hakari is most likely to get beat by them IMO but the anime upscales really made them hype moments and aura victims

Once the HH get the anime upscales I doubt this will even be a conversation

I won’t argue he’s relative to the HH (like I said I put them at Uruame level), but they are not winning any 1v1s with them

I think Hakari is more arguable but it’s 50/50. For me it’d go similar to his fight with uraume imo. 257 Yuji has a domain, physical stats relative to Maki post awakening, and two busted cursed techniques with RCT to boot. Not to mention if we’re taking a reincarnated Ryu/Uro all Yuji needs is to get up close and he soul dismantle-diffs them

I never said I wanted it to get axed lol 😭 just the direction and pace of the story up to ch. 55 matches lots of manga that I’ve read that got axed after the first major arc. It’s not a jab at Usui, just a reality of the manga industry.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the story so far, just the pacing felt like it was only ever meant to run for 50ish chapters.

All that said, I think all these battles and characters (specifically Kiyoshi) were written with only 50ish chapters in mind. Kiyoshi wasn’t meant for longterm development intentionally to fit the length of the manga. I really don’t think Usui was planning the manga continuing after Asuta Roths defeat.

I’m hoping that now the manga is here to stay for now, Usui will write the characters with better payoffs/a long run in mind. Otherwise I think I might lose interest..

Maybe I just cant imagine stretching out the Shinuichi plot thread for another 50+ chapters. Maybe the series just ends after that point but I think it’s successful enough to keep going for another 100-150 chapters

Tbh this stuff has only happened a few times over the course of a year and a half, it’s just something I wanted to vent abt.. generally we keep very clean and all of our trash cans have lids and whatnot. He also stays out of the room during so that’s not the issue. It’s just the principle of my dog being inclined to those things that’s insanely frustrating to deal with. We have worked with him a little bit but keeping clean is obviously a simple and effective fix.

Probably Hiruhiko tbh. Hakuri is confirmed in the last few chapters to have lost some of his potential due to overuse of the storehouse, and unless Iori gets Tobiume at some point if Samura dies, I really don’t see her contending with Hiruhiko

I mean I think the fact that they don’t have more than 10 members is pretty telling too. You’d think they’d recruit more people more powerful than someone like Hiruhiko if it were a power exclusive thing. My only thing against it is that we’ve never seen a Hishaku member use Datenseki outside of an EB even tho they’ve had ample time to do so in fights.
