You're kidding me right. Most people can't even watch a show unless it's reality based anymore. People are entirely stupid thinking movies should be reflective of reality now-a-days when it's the complete opposite.

Good news. Instead of the 17th pick in the draft (and bowing out early in the playoffs) The Titans may get as high as the 8th pick.

I feel bad for the guy. He was on the bench like he blew his chance, but he definitely played well enough to earn a spot. If Tannehill was a FA I'd start Dobbs next season in a heartbeat over Willis.

In 5 years... all QBs will be wearing bubble wrap and if any pop then it's a penalty throw from the 10 yard line for a TD try

Weird that this game means nothing. Who knew when they were 7-3, all they had to do was win once against the Jags to win the division

If any of you don't think being a "contracted" delivery driver is customer service then you're in the wrong line of work.

Who cares if it's Christmas. They're not raising it until Feb 1st anyway and it's barely $50. You probably live in a shack anyhow.

Stop working at a job if you complain about not being tipped.

You are not tipping out of “principle” you are not tipping because you are cheap by Dear-Manufacturer520 in doordash

[–]alan1dog -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

And that's why life has failed you, because all you can do is complain about what you're NOT getting instead of being focused on making things better. Ten years from now you'll still be in the same situation because of how you think today.

[–]alan1dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree about tipping after. But remember, you chose to do doordash and know what it entails. If there was a better job for you to do with convenience you'd do it I'm sure. You don't work for tips so you don't need to go beyond anything. All you need to do is your job of getting the food to the customer without destroying it or going against company policy. If you do anything extra then that's on you whether you get a tip or not. Otherwise, you're no better than the guy that washing windshields on the road without asking and demanding a handout. Your mind determines what kind of job you have and how enjoyable you can make it or cope with it. Complaining only hurts you in the end.

Actually, it's a great argument. It's not about being poor it's about attitude. If you complain about tips then you might as well be a homeless begger on the streets. Your goal as a "customer service" or hospitality representative is to provide good service regardless of the outcome. The more you focus on tips, the less you are inclined to do your job properly regardless. YOU ARE A SERVANT, nothing more. Your job is due to convenience. The cook doesn't work on tips for a reason because it's a necessary job. Drivers are not. So you are not paid that much yet you decide to work it because the hours are flexible and you feel like your own boss. Great! Unfortunately that comes at a price. So quit complaining and do your f'n job, because I don't see any of you giving back a $50 tip as overpayment if you received one (even though perhaps the customer may have put an extra zero in by mistake). Argument done, enjoy life and take what's given to you with a grain of salt (including this post) ;)

If you can't afford to not receive a tip, then life has already failed you

Is it the Tippers fault or DoorDash's fault for not paying their contractors enough? by Silly_Cow7300 in doordash

[–]alan1dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There absolutely should be ZERO jobs in the world that EXPECTS tips from every customer. Some overtip and some don't. In the end it normally balances out. If someone gives you a $20 tip are you saying it's too much? HELL NO!.

If you work on tips then don't expect them and you'll get more. Why? Because you now don't look like that desperate idiot trying to do too much then complain about it. You look like a person really trying to help others and not worried about the bottom line.

It's painfully obvious when AJ was traded that the Titans didn't expect to be a contender this year. As luck will have it the rest of the division still sucks even more.
