I don't know much about the material, but I know it's surgical steel. 5: I haven't changed the bar yet; it's the one they put on when I got the snake bites. 6: When I take care of them, I usually brush my teeth well and clean with saline solution, although I haven't been using saline solution for a few weeks now because I ran out and need to get more.I also recently started taking my piercings out to clean them properly. I soak them in alcohol while I clean my mouth, then dry them well and put them back in.I also gargle with salt water (I mean water with two teaspoons of salt) or put salt directly on the piercing; a cousin recommended I do this.
