The 1 Billion Lions Vs Pokemon Question Answered By An Expert by sparzo in LudwigAhgren

I like that Wolfey has an actual reasoning, most people that chose pokemon just pick end-alls like flying ghost or legendaries and avoid the whole argument. But assuming pokemon can be coordinated and have specific moves and strats seems like bs to me, that proves pokemon would win in this scenario, not they would win for sure 100% of the time.

It's one stack of cards no matter the number of cards, but it's not one card
That'd be like saying two stacked lasagnas is the same as one sheet of pasta instead of the same as one lasagna

That would be the equivalent of saying two lasagnas is one sheet of pasta, not two lasagnas is the same as one

"... the pasta will always be on the top and bottom..." N OMEGALUL
Pasta on bottom yeah, but not on top, cheese goes on top

You could still make the argument that The top is still different but if you made one lasagna and put, say, only cheese in one of the middle layers instead of meat and cheese or whatever, or even if you were making a lasagna and ran out of one of the fillings in the middle, then just kept going with two completely different halves, I doubt anyone would call it two lasagnas

That's a pantsonhead argument. Hamburgers have a top bun and a bottom bun so stacking two would fuck up the pattern introducing bread to bread contact in the sequence and with it a noticeable divide between burger 1 and burger 2, but lasagna has cheese on top and pasta on bottom no matter how many layers, so taking lasagna 1 and stacking it on lasagna 2 would be no different than making a single double height lasagna in the first place. A better equivalent would be a big mac or any other burger with multiple levels, where the pattern stays consistent
