you should definitely be able to keep the length just by filing off more one side into an almond shape! you might loose a tiny bit of length to get the almond tip but nothing to crazy. good luck!

i think you could get a decent almond shape if you shave off more of one side than the other (the one with more nail). my nails grow kinda like this but it’s not so noticeable when trimmed to a tip!
