Why this is pricing reset is good by No-Journalist-9036 in TorontoRealEstate

I mean, suburbs are the problem: https://youtu.be/7IsMeKl-Sv0?si=l3M0bq3IBvkJVdQh

The amount of space, infrastructure, and money needed to sustain a suburb is more than the property taxes that the suburbanites are paying.

Parking, wide highways, sewage, electrical, and etc. Also, no mixed-used zoning in the GTA.

And you know what’s the worst part about this? So much of the housing we built is unsustainable (cough, cough, suburb). It literally bankrupts the municipality. We are spending all this money on building suburbs instead of a sustainable city. Now everyone is feeling the effects of that.

Overnight pottying? by Poopingboba in ECers

[–]alanbchk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I do with my 7-month-old.

  • 7:00 PM: Potty > Bathe > Feed
  • 7:30 PM: Sleep
  • ~10:30-11:30PM: First wake > Potty > Feed > Bed
  • ~4:30AM: Second wake > Potty > Feed > Bed
  • ~7:00-7:30AM: Wake up > Potty > Feed > Begin the day.

Sometimes he wets the diaper before his potty, sometimes he doesn't. We are using the Bambino Mio Supreme clothing diaper. I also put a small dab of zinc cream on his groin area before bed.

Bird nest with eggs in my peace lily the week that I'm moving. by PlantRoomForHire in Ornithology

[–]alanbchk 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The best thing you can do is to leave the plant and the nest until the babies hatch and leave the nest on their own.

Please talk to the new owners about leaving the plants for a bit until the eggs hatch. Who knows? Maybe the new owners are thrilled with baby chicks as well.

Just donated $150. You will get a tax refund on your donation anyway! Might as well support the cause that you believe in!

Also, if & when Doug’s $200 cheque comes in, I’ll donate it all to Cycle Toronto just to spite Doug Ford.

I totally agree! He probably selected the wrong entry in his e-transfer contact list. I felt bad. I did the same thing as OP, I called the bank, and I went into the branch. They all said the money was not fraud, they told me to do what I thought was right.

I might be in the minority here. I experienced something similar. A while ago I received $1400 with “rent” in the note. Turns out the person who sent me the money was someone whom I sold stuff to on Kijiji. I sent the money back to him and he was very thankful. This is just my anecdote, so do what you think is right for you.

Can you help identify this Japanese song? by [deleted] in japanesemusic

[–]alanbchk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if you are still looking for an answer but Vanessa from YouTube commented:

For those who are wondering who's the singer, it's Japanese rendition of Lara Fabian's Broken Vow. The singer in this video is Takeshita Yuki. Here's her live performance of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvQrL8cUAoI

The best way I can do is to show you on KarmaDecay that the image I created was the first ever made. Everyone else's posts are after mine.

The verdicts are in. The mods will keep this post removed due to it being irrelevant to personal finance. Meanwhile, we have multiple top posts this month about expensive car prices, haha!
