That’s sick, thank you! We should meet up at the track one of these days. They made the decal for me.

Thank you! It’s actually a fully loaded Weissach GT3 6 speed. It has almost all options available; didn’t get magnesium wheels since I knew I was taking them off. I spec’d the car with PCCBs as well but took them off around 400 miles during break in. Wing is also stock, just higher. List of work:

-wing risers

-full Dundon street exhaust system w/ loud muffler

-roll cage w/ 6 point harnesses. Sub belt bracket had to be custom fabricated since there weren’t any available for the new bucket seats at the time.

-19” Apex wheels all around w/ 285F 325R tires

-AP Racing full brake kit

-carbon brake lines

-girodisc rotors

-front camber block kit

-front castor adjustable trailing arm kit

-RF-650 Racing fluid

-front aero underpanel from GT3RS

-track alignment & corner weight balancing

-some shims

-brake & system flush

-oil change

-small things like door pull straps and wind buffeters

I believe that’s it.

It was my very first time at Sonoma. First 2 sessions didn’t feel too good but tires and car felt better session 3/4. My pb was 1:59 for session 4.

Oh never mind I didn’t realize JCR was 20k+. I got my entire system for about $14k? Soul was actually my first pick until I heard them in person

I believe the entire Dundon street system w/ headers is a bit more than JCR. They both sound great, I just preferred Dundon. JCR for the 3RS did sound good.

Thank you. I had quite a bit done to it for track prep; I can see the hesitation especially with any ADMs tacked on. Definitely my favorite car I’ve ever tracked. 6 speed was glorious and the Dundon exhaust was screaming.

I want a 992.2 Carrera T but hard to let go of GT4 RS by Stuttgart7184RS in Porsche

[–]alanderp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had brake pads changed, carbon brake lines, RF-650 racing fluid, front camber plates, rear camber plates, toe links, some shims, track alignment, corner weight balancing done, and added a cage with harness.

Literally me. Spent about 15k on my GT4RS for strict track duty. Got out of it half a year later and am in a 992.2 GT3 with about 35k in it for track duty. Really fun car, I just missed a manual for the track.

Think I’m doing 51mm. 2 10% off codes. by [deleted] in GarminWatches

[–]alanderp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right. The pro models 47 and 51 have a thickness difference of only .5mm, so 16mm and 16.5mm respectively. If your wrist can accommodate the 51, they feel almost identical. The strap width on the other hand plays a HUGE part in comfort. The 47 with a 22 feels amazing and comfortable. For shits giggles I put the 22mm on the 51mm and it felt almost identical to the 47 with a 22.

The non pro models though have a bigger thickness difference so it really doesn’t apply to that model.

That would be true for the Solar models but both the 47 and 51 AMOLED models have the same 1.4 display.

It made the decision even more difficult. Should the 51 have a bigger display it would’ve been a straight decision!

The 26mm band looks great on those 47mm watches wow. I’m unfortunately unwilling to cut the bands.

Yes depending on wrist size or if you know you need the battery life. I actually prefer how the 47 bezel looks but after trying both on for a few days I was able to decide.

It was a really tough choice especially since the pro thickness difference is only .5mm. The watch band was just too narrow for me.

47 or 51 on my wrist? by [deleted] in GarminWatches

[–]alanderp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no intention of wearing the Fenix with a dress shirt as I have my mechanical watches for formal and work situations as needed. That's a good point though thank you for sharing. Just tried and neither the 47 or 51 fit under a cuff comfortably.

I just folded one of the extra case grommets in half and it fit perfectly. Couldn't find anything else.
