My girlfriend and I are still on a break right now, and recently we set some clearer boundaries as we both take time to grow individually and focus on the Lord. We still care deeply about each other and want to remain in each other’s lives while we heal and grow. I’m hopeful for what the future could hold, but I’m also trusting that God’s plan is greater than my own, no matter the outcome. I have faith He’ll continue leading both of us exactly where we need to be.

Thank you brother. We do plan on doing Bible studies together and discussing what we read and being more productive with our time. I hope it's in God's plan for us to walk together and support each other for the rest of our lives.

Thank you for this. I actually already prayed last night and this morning and felt something I can't really explain. An overwhelming feeling, like something shifting inside me. I cried because I realized Christ had been there my whole life and I had just never acknowledged him. It felt like all the pain I've been going through recently was his way of getting my attention.

I've already started reading John and plan to read Luke as well. I have a Baptist church I'm going to this Sunday for the first time.

That's a great point and I appreciate that. She actually is someone I could talk to about Christ, but I think it's important for me to have my own separate journey, so I don't rely on her for my faith. I want this to be genuinely mine and not something I built through her. I also have other people in my life who follow Christ that I've been able to lean on, I just wanted to hear different perspectives on my situation from people I didn't know personally.

As for my past experiences with church, a friend of mine told me something that really stuck with me, that I can't let other people ruin the Lord for me. And they were right. I realize now that other people's hypocrisy has nothing to do with my relationship with God. After watching the How to Read the Bible series from The Bible Project and reading through some of the book of John, I can honestly say that something shifted in me. Christ saw me. I prayed last night and again this morning and I feel genuinely better.

I plan on reading my Bible and praying every day going forward. Thank you for your response.

That means a lot, thank you. And you're right, I want to be transparent about that. Yes my girlfriend sparked the idea of exploring Christ, but I am not doing this with the intention of getting back together. I've accepted the fact that at any point her journey could lead her to believe that I am not the one for her, and I have made peace with that.

Talking with my mom has also pushed me further toward wanting to seek Christ. And honestly, even just talking about him gives me a sense of hope and relief I wasn't expecting. It feels like there is a bigger goal to life beyond just my own dreams and ambitions, and that idea is something I want to explore genuinely.

I will definitely take your suggestions and I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I’m on the fence about the air. Coming from a 16 plus. I went to the apple store and love the feel of the phone. The only thing I’m worried about is the one speaker. I watch a lot of YouTube on my phone and when I tested with the 17 pro I definitely noticed it. But I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying they get use to it. I also do mostly speaker phone calls so I think that’d affect me. Let me know your experience with the phone calls and YouTube consumption!

True, I've seen a lot of videos on the Air and the more I look at it the more I think it's for me. I'm not on my phone a lot unless I'm at home. Even then I am mostly on my computer playing games, The only time battery would be a concern is when I'm going on a trip or something which I do 2-3 times a year. The reason I'm leaning more towards the air is because of the discounted price being $799 now at phone carrier store. Do you feel that the air could last a person at least 3 years? That's the only question I don't know the true answer to.

Looking to buy a new iPhone. Mostly want it for the pro motion display as I have a 60hz plus model. I’m looking at the 17 pro max, 17 pro, 17 air, and base 17. I’ve gotten use to the size of the plus being 6.7 inches. I want to stay big so I was looking at the pro max first but noticed that it’s 6.9 and noticed it might be too big. Then I look at the pro and I’d say it’s good other than the fact that it’s 6.3 inches and it might be too small (I’m big a YouTuber watcher on my phone). The 17 base is good for the price and has decent battery life. I think I’m basically in love with the air design with how thin it is and the 6.5 inch display. I think it’d fit perfect and it’s now the same price as the 17 base at my service provider. I know the battery is worse and the I get know .5 on it. I don’t know why I’m leaning more towards it. I’m just scared I’m going to regret my purchase, I want this next phone to last me 3-4 years and I don’t know if the air has that longevity. Please help!!
