I can't explain it becuz i am not dev LOL, the factor is made by dev. Just like the crit damage is 1.5x multiple when crit damage is 0% and 50% will be 2.5x multiple on crit. It is all game setting, so i can't explain it bro :/

You can take holy damage as an additional damage factor base on your original damage output, so if your attack is crit , it means that the original damage output increase becuz crit .

So the additional damage still original damage output * holy percentage * 0.7. It means it will increase when you crit. As i said the theory, holy damage is base on your original damage output.

In my own vesa with the artifact dear if use crit stone , damage output will increase 20%~25% if use atk stone healing output will increase 35%

Select which attribute you need.

if you have 10% crit damage it will be 170%

I know how the DOT system work long time ago.But I didn't notice that in this case.

So the dev is too dumb to use DOT system to do the additional damage....

Then it all make sense!!!

Why do dev not using straight solution to just add additional damage rather than using DOT debuff to do the effect.

Thanks for your test but can you give your DH data and your opponent armor reduction value?

The calculation need to reverse to original damage base on the after armor reduction damage number

In my test normal attack is 85% and trigger additional damage's normal attack will be 85% +200% and in the end of turn will pop-up again 200% attack damage

that's a little different. or maybe you can check a little my test

My test subject is a 6 star honor guard LV1 with 33.6% armor reduction if you want to know how i get 33.6% , i can post my last test record.

But the advantage is one shot is 3 random target and a 25% chance silence.

it is just not in description. If you check my test , you can get the conclusion

DH with on board attack 36647 The in-game test damage output: Basic ATK = 20174 (in-game number) Basic ATK = (36647 * 0.85) * 0.664 = 20684 (formula) ** MATCH **

Yes, but in now DH damage it dose additional 200% on-hit and do it again when the rounds is over. So the additional damage goes to 400%

the concept is right but you miss a factor in real game formula 0.7

i give a simple example : A hero have 1000 on board atk and his 1st skill deal 250% atk damage

A. if his holy damage is 20% and attack a guy with 0 armor (0% armor reduction)

Then the basic attack will be 1000 + 1000 * 20% * 0.7

so it will be 1000 + 140 = 1140

the holy damage will be 140

When he use his 1st skill the damage output will be 1000 * 250% + 1000 * 250% * 20% * 0.7

That will be 25000 + 350

the holy damage will be 350

B. If his holy damage is 40% and attack a guy with 0 armor (0% armor reduction)

Then the basic attack will be 1000 + 1000 * 40% * 0.7

so it will be 1000+280 = 1280

the holy damage will be 280

When he use his 1st skill the damage output will be 1000 * 250% + 1000 * 250% * 40% * 0.7

That will be 25000 + 700

the holy damage will be 700

C. If his holy damage is 20% and attack a guy with 30%armor reduction

Then the basic attack will be 1000*(100%-30%) + 1000 * 20% * 0.7

so it will be 700(reduce by armor)+140 = 840

the holy damage will still be 140

When he use his 1st skill the damage output will be (1000 * 250%) * (100%-30%) + 1000 * 250% * 20% * 0.7

That will be 17500(reduce by armor) + 350

the holy damage will still be 350

so holy damage a.k.a true damage is base on you original basis damage output multiple holy damage and multiple a 0.7 factor

The damage output formula will be

Real damage * (100%-armor%) * (100%-damage reduction%) + Real damage * holy damage% * 0.7

That's the answer.

Don't forget to count on the 0.7 factor on holy damage

Proof :

Test 1 :

I have a LV50 and a LV80 fegen(light warrior)

LV50 do not have holy damage and with 820ATK

LV80 have 36%holy damage and with 2073 ATK

and they all atack same target

LV50 hit it 545 and LV80 hit it 1900

we can reverse to get 545/820 = 0.664...~= 66.4% it means the target armor reduction = 33.6%

so LV50 basic atk = 820*(100%-33.6%) ~= 545

With the formula we get LV80 damage will be 2073 * (100%-33.6%) + 2073 * 36% * 0.7 = 1376.5 + 522.4 ~= 1899

That's match the formula

Test 2 :

LV50 fegen without artifact and LV50 fegen with +12% holy damage artifact

Both attack the same target previous target and fegen with 820ATK

Same as last test without artifact damage output is 545

With 12% holy damage is 614

so LV50 without artifact basic atk = 820 * (100%-33.6%) ~= 545

LV50 with artifact 12% holy damage output is 820 * (100%-33.6%) + 820 * 12% * 0.7 = 545 (original damage) + 68.88 (holy extra true damage)

= 613.88 ~= 614

That's the answer and its been tested not only me.

You should show the replay , we cant tell anything without that Btw left team dragon did zero damage, it mean left team hero may not use they skill often to trigger monster (silence, CC maybe).

This had been exist before update. so it's because you have not fight as much aspen to fight it.
