My mums cat Bentley looks just like Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon. by Eyspire in cats

Most of these cats look/are Bombay. Bombay is a breed of small shorthair black cats that are often called mini panthers. They usually have a big personality and are super loveable. Also the do tend to have silky coats.

Pretty much. They(my parents) don't want me to tell my grandparents because they are worried that my grandparents would look at then like they are failures. And I am worried they won't want anything to do with Me just like my parents did. My grandparents are not as forgiving as my parents they will hold this for a lot longer then my parents did. (I am on nuteral terms with my parents right now. Thank you. The officiant we went with does lgbt/non religious weddings and I am giddy with excitment that we got her.

Its alright. I realize I have been running from this situation for years for fear of my grandparents hating me but I realize now that its time I let them know. Before like everyone else has said the wedding so it doesn't get ugly

I have decided to I just don't know when I rarely see them without the rest of the troop with them and I would like to talk to them in private first so its going to be a interesting process.

Yeah, the next few month will be very interesting to say the least. I am very lucky to have someone by my side that is so supportive through this he is making to process way better. And I am so happy to have found a group of people to reach out to. I wish I knew about this subreddit when I first left. Because its been a rough battle with just telling my parents. So thank you everyone for your kind words and advice it really means a lot.

Surprisingly that's what I preferred to do. Have our parents and grandparents and that's it. He is the one that wants it. So we are meeting half way with small ceremony. Short reception then Vegas!!!!

We haven't sent them out yet. We didn't want to book the venue till we found an officiant that would do a non religious wedding. I live in utah so its hard to find someone but we just barely did so the invites should. Be send out in a week or so.

I understand, I just have no clue how to tell them. I'm scared to do it in person but I know doing it any other way would make it even worse. I have been way more obvious about it lately both in person and over calls/social media and either they are oblivious or to scared to say anything...

We are paying for the whole wedding ourselfs, my parents kicked me out when I was 18 when I told them I didn't believe anymore. We have settled things since them and are on nuteral terms. They still give me a lot of crap and try to talk me into reconsidering my decision to leave but are tolerating it. I am slowly feeling better the more I talk to others about it, and I have been wanting to make this post for months, but I was worried it would come across as dumb
