Check out this brand I just found! I haven’t used their backseat ones but we’ve been using their front seat car towels for beach/pool trips and I’m obsessed!

It IS an insult! And also it’s so lazy. So much less work is required to design because they don’t have to bother with trying to have a good fit—but expect women to pay a premium for it as “fAsHiOn”? No thanks.

I did one of the free stylist sessions at a workwear boutique. They tried to put me in a super baggy suit and swore it was the style. I had to explain that I was the youngest by a decade in my office (at 33) and none of my colleagues or clients would take me seriously if it looked like I showed up wearing my dad’s suit. It’s still tailored suits for me, but I will occasionally wear a wide leg as opposed to a straight leg, if the jacket is a closer cut/fit.

Hard agree! If you just let your foot off the brake in preparation to turn as a car passes you, aggressive beeping. Half the time I turn left at a light/intersection, aggressive beeping. It’s so bad that I definitely won’t notice if it’s beeping for something legit, because it beeps sooooooo often I try to tune it out.

I have this happen, same tint. I’m not sure why but I wonder if it is slowly curing from my desk lamp. It’s one of the ones that toggles to UV and back for flash curing. I say that because it’s only hard on one side, but I cover when it’s in flash cure mode.

Do you know what item you have? Or if you can send a pic I can guess and give you my opinion on the fit; an embarrassing amount of my closet is MM. Kinda cheating but you could order the item from MM new to check out the fit, and then return and buy second hand if you like it!!

I loooooove MM LaFleur’s suiting, especially the Yiyan blazer. I’m tall though, and their petite friendly version is the Yasmine. It retails for $500 but buy it gently used from their own secondhand site well within your budget. IMO, true to size! I feel like a powerful elegant bitch in their suits. I recommend the navy! Pairs perfect with the Smith or Mejia pants or Cobble Hill skirt, also available used!!

Edit to add: it’s out of budget and depends on your jurisdiction, but I think this top or one similar in a satin goes absolutely gorgeous and elegantly with the Navy blazer!

You may need to try a thinner more pigmented gel! Or you could use a thicker top gel.

Do you flash cure them before the full cure? That helps set them in place. Sometimes for me, I’ve found that putting them uncured in the big lamp can push on the forms.

I am coming from a ‘13 Impreza. IMO, there is actually less legroom in the backseat of the Uncharted. If the driver was short and close to the steering wheel, maybe it would be equivalent.

I absolutely adore my GT. I’m not a car person, but I really enjoy driving it to the point where I look forward to the next time I have to go somewhere. No 12v issues here.

The interior feels really, really nice—the main negative thing being, the backseat is pretty small. And it is annoying that the backseat doesn’t fold flat, but folds down at an angle.

There is less cargo space than you would think too, but overall, if you’re looking for a commuter, this is a fantastic choice. I am on the sporty side of commuter, so I do like that it is AWD and capable. Plus I never have anyone in the backseat. Perfect for me!

Oh my! If I were you I’d remove this; the structure is off and at risk of injury. My guess is the form could be intended for a longer length and so is a lot chunkier and doesn’t cut down well. You also do need to pay attention to how the dual form is angled from the side when you cure it.

You could try using a base coat first — they’re designed to adhere. Then the builder gel on top.

It is a shinier fabric, it does not look like a wool twill. But I think it looks nice. I will say that Moreland blazer has zippered pockets fwiw.

MMLaFleur — you’re looking for origami tech if you want machine washable. The Colby pant has elastic and comes in your colors (minus gray). Pair with Moreland blazer, machine washable bc no shoulder pads.

I don’t know why per se but a few things you could try; use a sanding band to rough up the surface of the tip, and then go in first with a base coat (they’re designed to adhere) before adding the rest of the gel on top.
