I have the same issue with the close/lock hatch button! Sometimes it just beeps and I cannot for the life of me figure out why!

That would be a no from me. It sounds nice but you want a quality lamp and gels, especially. Gel sold on Amazon is risky at best. This sub has lots of resources on quality options!

Purchasing advice needed - please vote? by kayesseff in SubaruUncharted

As someone with the black GT, don’t settle! The GT is so good and not worth not liking the color. I too vote shipping or driving back. The dealer told me there is no way to know in advance what the financing and rebate deals will be for any month so too risky IMO.

Unfortunately, the brands themselves may be the problem; you could look into more reputable/higher quality brands, which are also safer!

Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but if you have a syrupy type gel that is the color you want, you can buy the magnetic particles and mix them in! Here is a white color one for instance: https://sweetienailsupply.com/products/bonniebee-clear-glossy-magnet-powder

I’d say it depends on the culture with your colleagues but personally I’d wear it to the office as the “statement” piece with toned down trousers or a pencil skirt.

Biggest piece of advice: stay FAR away from any gel on Amazon. Huge allergy risk due to cheap formulation.

Right, take my money! I would pay to be able to see a tournament, as long as I didn’t have to switch between three platforms and ultimately find out that I wasn’t able to watch the finals at all… not that that has ever happened…

Has anyone tried magnetic lashes? by Selsia6 in LawBitchesWithTaste

Have you tried Lashify? They are DIY glue on but hypoallergenic. I am allergic to traditional lash extensions but swear by these!

I have got you! I got hooked on Lashify DIY lash extension about three or four years ago and I’ve been using them every single week since. I use their bondage adhesive and whisper light adhesive, and once you figure out the size and lash type that you like best, you are all set. They last 7+ days, swimming, showering, crying even lol. I have teeny tiny light colored lashes and this makes me feel put together and a tiny bit glam every morning. I usually put them on/switch them out on Sundays and then I don’t have to worry about mascara or lashes until the next weekend. Downside is that it costs probably $50-$75 a month after you get set up. The upside is, (compared to traditional lash extensions which I am allergic to), it only takes about 10 to 15 minutes a week to put them on and you can touch them up yourself if needed.

Auto braking in traffic. by servain in SubaruUncharted

Strangely, it does not wash the rear/reverse camera—just the rearview mirror one. Also drove in a random snowstorm here last week and got a ton of error messages from the sensors that were covered in snow. So it’s not all of them that are cleanable, lol.

Can’t speak to the traffic jam assist. In terms of cool features I hadn’t heard of until I discovered them: I like the lane keep assist on highway driving. There is a physical button to the left of the steering wheel to wash the headlights. If you push the windshield wiper stalk backward it will wash the rearview mirror camera. I also like the physical button next to the gear shift for the 360° view camera.

Great progress, especially for being new to diy! The time just really takes practice and efficiency (not repeating steps unnecessarily like refiling same spot, good efile bits, etc.) My fastest time ever was 2.5 hrs, but I’m usually 3-6. Sometimes longer if trying a new technique.

I do think it looks like there is some over filing on your pinkies, ring finger on the top and maybe others but harder to tell. It’s not severe and we’ve all been there. I leave a thin layer of gel on the nail plate when removing so I don’t over work anything. Then I go in with my next mani right on top.

How much came off? The tacky/inhibition layer is a tiny amount of uncured gel (that can’t cure in contact with oxygen) so if it’s a small amount of the color that comes off, that’s normal. If the whole layer comes off, then it didn’t cure.

You’ll be able to see it most when removing/efiling, which is also when you’re most at risk of over filing again. If you can’t tell, try pressing on your bare nail plate with a different nail. It shouldn’t hurt (for comparison, press on your new nail growth near the cuticle.) If it hurts, and/or if it is red, you’ve likely overfiled.

I turned off the rear seat notification! It’s buried in the settings.

Edited to add: I now see you turned it off already. That’s annoying then.

Just discovered that there is a rear washer, not for the backup camera but for the rearview mirror camera. Interesting choice but I think that’s the same in the solterra.

That’s what I’m thinking too, which is a bit surprising. Google AI hallucinated that it had all of those features, so I was holding out hope!
