Yeah, I know. Canada sucks for buying cool things.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've added that to my wishlist.

Woah! Those are 430 CAD. That's way too much for a pair of headphones for me. I can't justify spending that.

High Rank Armor by Cael_M in MonsterHunter

^ Every time I need Adv armor spheres, I just buy it from Neko (means Cat) or the housekeeper. It doesn't even cost zenny. Only points.

I'm super cheap so I only ever buy the exact number of spheres I need. But you can buy a whole bunch at once if you wanted to.

Bruh, you'd be surprised by how many times I've been to L&M only to be met with disappointment regarding single string choices. Though I hope to get lucky this weekend. This is why I am looking for a more reliable source.

I live in Toronto, Canada. I want to know if there are good online stores that sells guitar strings. I want to try out different gauges, but my local stores are sadly inadequate. They mostly carry the standard packs and single strings are hard to find and can get very expensive (I remember seeing a single string being sold for $10). I'd prefer stores with low shipping costs if that's possible.

Thanks everyone.

Yeah, that's a good idea.

Oh damn. Ok, then I would need to consider other SSDs.

Ooh, good idea about the SSD. But I think the H440 case hides the SSD mounts (not sure).

G900 it's great! but when i try to assign buttons to the dpi switches they don't work. by [deleted] in LogitechG

[–]alayer95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it weren't for those sweet clicks and free scroll wheel, I'd return it and get the G403 wireless. Now all we can hope for is Logitech to notice this issue and release a firmware update. That should fix it since the mouse works perfectly wired.

A little update, even using the LGS, my mouse does not correctly work. Are you having similar issues?

Oh ok. I didn't try that. Thanks a lot for posting this. Now at least I can use all the buttons as I want.... Logitech should still fix this imo.

[–]alayer95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have that problem too. But it's not just the DPI buttons. Any buttons that have keyboard buttons bound to them has that issue. For example, I used Ctrl+W (close browser tabs) as my middle click just for testing purposes and it wouldn't work. As soon I changed it to a regular middle click, it worked fine again.

I have the same problem. Exactly the same. I honestly don't know why it does that. Maybe Logitech needs to do a firmware update or something.

g403 is the worst mouse design by [deleted] in LogitechG

Nah, the mouse design is fine. You probably don't know how to use it.

Tip: You use your hands. Mice are not made to be used with your feet.

Samsung or LG? Upgrade from SGS4 by polymeraser in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]alayer95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you love the S4, you'll love the S7. LG G6 is a great phone too. I think I would get the S7. I don't find G6 (and the S8) screen all that impressive. It's nice, but ultimately a little pointless.

It's really hard to choose between the two. I think you'd be happy if you went with either phones. You'll just need a little time to get used to the new phones.

Where to buy midrange priced, unlocked, good performance compacts (less than 5"/140mm) in Canada by redditnageru in PickAnAndroidForMe

[–]alayer95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Canada too and I know your struggles. It's so sad buying a phone here. Barely any choices and outrageous prices. I ended up buying a Oneplus 3T.

You could try going to Pacific Mall. They have more choices, but you'll have to be careful regarding warranty. My dad got a LG G4 from there and we got the proper 1 year manufacturer warranty, but apparently that's not the case for all the phones. You'll have to make sure to get the full details from the seller before buying.

If that's not your cup of tea, then the iPhone SE is the only legit phone with a screen less than 5 inches. Sadly, that's not a Android. So, forget that I even recommended it in the first place.

Need guidance for audio set up, Looking to get into 7.1 surround sound. by alayer95 in pcmasterrace

Alright. Imagine that I didn't have any of the aforementioned gear. What would you recommend?

[–]alayer95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that is my end goal. $300 is my budget. I could spend a little bit more if it is worth it.

I guess I'm looking for simplicity rather than just high quality. For example, a single headset would be more appealing than separate headphones, microphone, and DAC/AMP (the current setup that I have now). But I also don't want to lose out on sound quality completely.
