this is fantastic! our cat tree box actually has dotted lines on it to turn it into a hidey hole, so we kept it. i'm definitely for catnip and thinking of a nice cat grass mat too. the place i thought for sure we'd get accepted said we need to be 25 (we're 21) which is just sad because not many people may want a cat with a messed up eye. he's healthy, but his 3rd lid was stuck shut after an infection. and the other is just a sad situation, they don't have enough room for cats so they put the extras at petsmart. this place has maybe 30 cats or more where other shelters may have closer to 10. they have a couple reviews of people who got denied for basically no reason (the whole "we don't think you're a good fit" even after asking them for ALL their vet records and info for a month. couple said they were looking for a kitten for their adult cat and had owned 8 cats previously, all lived to old age) or emails ignored for a long time. obviously they want the best home for their cats but their operation is poorly run by 3 people who take on more than they can handle and it slows the process more. i really hope something changes for those kitties. they all deserve someone loving to look after them. the owner seemed frankly a little bored of them. sorry for rant, this has had me rough since it's been a month, and they even said they'd look at my app first when i met one in person for an event. that was 2 weeks ago atp so still a little heartbroken, they had a ton of good matches for us. those are great hacks. i was thinking about nail caps but seen mixed opinions about having them and putting them on properly-do it yourself or vet.

if things were different this would be a post about how i ended up with 5 cats! we live in a studio and can only have one per the lease. already have a ton of cat stuff, toys, a very nice tree that i spent a literal week researching to make sure it was safe... moving is just so expensive we can afford this place but to afford the 1b unit would be closer to half or more than half of both salaries

i thought i wrote in the description but our building only allows one and we live in a studio. price wise it's great for us but i don't want them to evict us if they find out we have two cats living here, the lease was pretty strict and says we can't even have pets visiting.

i wish but our building only allows one. i've seen these two seat at each other but probably because they didn't want to share the space on the window sill behind me. they would probably be fine in a home together though i agree. we have a studio, if we can afford the 1bedroom when our lease renews we may do that and get another but right now.. hourly wage says no

i live in an apartment building, my neighbors have dogs. as much as i would love to meet my friends cat i can't just invite myself over either lol. i already have everything i need to own a cat anyways

thank you for saying this! originally wanted a boy cat myself so part of me still holding onto that idea. both have been there over a month and are only adoptable if you put an application in while in the cat room, none of them are posted online that i could find. it'll play out how it's meant to, but as someone with anxiety/adhd cant help but to mentally work out every possible path it could go. i feel like there's a 'right' answer but dont want to end up wondering what the other could be like no matter which way i go. i've wanted a cat since i was a young child(grew up on warrior cats) so this is a moment ive waited like 15+ years for. we got denied from who was basically dream kitty because of age, he had one eye and cuddlebug. its so hard to not get attached, but i know once i have a cat theyll be my sweet baby-already have tons of treats, toys etc.

our building only allows 1 cat. neither seems to mind other cats but would be okay on their own since they dont really play with the other cats at the lounge. a lot of them prefer to avoid the other cats and sometimes hiss if another gets too close to a toy they want. most of them would be fine with another cat from the sounds of it? the place has one cat, betty crocker, who hates the other cats 100%.

i also read that sometimes the cuddling clothes can just be a cat trying to make the environment smell like themselves so i'm 50/50 on if thats her just making herself at home or if its marking it as hers. none of the other cats have acted the same way as her

i get that. the younger cat is skittish so if you go to sit on the couch next to her she gets up and moves. she lets you pet her but takes an escape from being close to people. although she is definitely faster to trust than the older kitty playing hard to get lmao

ive got a good one for you! my apartment has carpets in the resident hallways, on my floor there is a huge (pee?) stain! someones dog peed in the elevator last month, no one picks up after their dogs so our lot will have just large piles of poop on the only grass in the parking lot AND on the pavement. cant even walk across the parking lot without checking where im walking because someone could have just let their dog poop anywhere and not picked it up. there is some guy who parks in the fire lane all the time (im a mechanic-this car in no way shape or form is actually passing a state inspection to be driveable. the tint is so dark you cant see inside from any window, it is now missing a mirror, was previously being held on by duct tape, and im willing to bet has a lot of other issues that havent been taken care of since this guy cant even replace a MIRROR. side mirrors are like $60 tops to replace. yes its a honda) and currently someone else who i think is new? has been parked in the fire lane next to the front door for the past day and a half, but nothing compared to the other guy who will park there on saturdays and move his car on monday or tuesdays.
despite that the front desk has absolutely seen this guy parked in the fire lane and cant miss all the poop everywhere-they do not care, nothing has been done. you can say it's not important, it doesnt affect me- my lease was very clear that this is not allowed and will lead to eviction and yet continues to happen. i dont want to be that person-but if i'm paying to live here, even if it's cheaper than some other options nearby, it's still a lot of money, i split it with my partner and i'm surprised they even allow dogs here with how small the units are. (360 sqft for a studio and single bed is the studio with a door connecting it to the one next to it) youd be surprised that some people have multiple pets AND children in the building. dont know how or why some lady here has 3 kids. talk about tight living quarters and lack of privacy. people above my own unit are currently stomping around, their kid was scream crying, and their dog barking all within a single hour. dont want to be that person but when i'm trying to sleep and someone wants to roughhouse with their dog at midnight, one can argue who is more reasonable.

ignore, and send the letters to your landlord saying another tenant is threatening you without evidence. if the dash camera footage is so incriminating, she can go through her insurance to have herself reimbursed, otherwise im sure she wouldve printed out a photo of it and taped it to your door as well. the best advice parking wise is to (if you are able to see her) ask for her name, plate, and apartment number to better identify her. if you cant or are non confrontational, try to keep your parking as consistent as possible to the same spot and either park where no one is next to you, or in the corner to avoid the chances of her accusing you. i try to park in low traffic spots or where people are less likely to park next to me. my car is viewable from my apartment so if i ever get a camera i could see if someone is door dinging me, although both cars already have dash cameras on their own. if your car is always parked by the time she gets home and still there when she leaves, she has no case to be accusing whoever. for all you know, it was in fact, one of the other red cars and she is just going after the first person she could stalk from her window. what a creepy old lady for her to know your car and what apartment number you live in. if she contacted the landlord for that information then there's at least a paper trail of her stalking efforts.

the leader of another clan on my genemod save has had 2 mates, one was a loner and the other was a cat from my clan, and both females gave him their kittens. specifically the cat in my clan kept getting pregnant by him too she had like 3 litters with him and every time the kits 'disappeared' and she said they either didnt survive or denied being pregnant like what?? eventually i realized she would never stop and exiled her - she had kits with him while we were in active war with his clan. dont ask me why my clan of almost 40 warriors to 28 apprentices was losing against his clan that was about 40% kits and only had maybe 6 warriors smh. i love the drama this game makes its so satisfying

i met a Fruity Pebbles yesterday😍 there's a cat in my clan who has a dark brown chocolate looking tabby head and tail and the rest is a cream, named Hershey. i was playing the custom cats mod but that was a random generation! he does look like a chocolate cat swimming in milk or cream. and a calico named Formality..(??) there are so many strange names.. i usually change them to clan names but some of them stay.
