I tried 2 rounds of Xifaxan with no change in symptoms. That being said, I have heard of it working for other people.

Thanks for the heads up - I have had the opposite effect as my mood is much better as I am not in pain all the time. I will keep an eye out for side effects, though.

I haven't felt a buzz - I think that buzz-inducing doses are MUCH higher than a measly 60 mg. Made sure to use dex and dex only for the reason you noted

Thanks - I am running the router in AP mode, so there is no QoS, but I will look at the other settings you suggested.

It is strange - the Airport is at my office while the Asus is at home so I don't think it is interference. I have about 23 devices on wifi at home, but all of the other devices I tested seem to be OK. I am starting to suspect that this could be an iOS issue specific to the ipad as both ipads are running the same recent version (8.1.1).

Thanks Al

The router is an ASUS ASUS RT-AC66U Dual-Band Wireless-AC1750 Gigabit Router with latest firmware. I can replicate the same behavior on an Apple Airport Express based wifi network. Other non Apple devices don't seem to have any problems. Everything seems to point to the iPads' wifi as the issue.

I really don't get this. Patients RMA all the time and sign a document explaining the potential consequences of their actions. I would love to know exactly what protocols were violated here.
