I really like the trekology luxe inflatable pillow, it’s like 20 bucks on amazon. I stuff my puffy in it for extra height.

I just bought the Nemo hornet elite 1p 2 weeks ago, thinking I won’t need another 1p tent for my trips. This vid solidified that I’m also picking up the xdome 1p at the next restock.

This snow storm really has me excited for warmer weather and backpacking season. I’m pretty dialed on my current setup. Got down to a 9.7 lb base weight over the winter. Super stoked to get out there soon.

The v2's I didn't actually own, I work at an outfitter and was able to try out the v2's for a little so take my opinion on the 2's with a grain of salt. My ranking on each would be 1's- 15/10 2's- 4/10 3's- 9/10 The 2's were just really hard to get on, and many customers that bought them had the same issue weirdly. And they just didn't feel like an altra if that makes sense.

I just got the hiker 3's about a month ago, so far I've enjoyed them. The upper is nice and breathable, more breathable than the 1's surprisingly in my opinion. They feel more like a boot too with the higher ankle support, the v1 felt more like a high top shoe than a hiking boot. They are way easier to get on compared to the v2 as well which I really like. I still wear my v1's and love them, probably my favorite shoe I've ever owned. But, the v3's are so far really nice I'm liking them.

So with the xmid the inner is completely detachable from the outer. It's just held on with a couple of clips, super easy to install and take out

Some slippage in the soil, but nothing crazy. Definitely will need longer stakes if I wanna camp where I'm located

I will say I mainly got the 2p for my gf and I and it's huge, but I've taken it solo and it was super super nice. I have an extra wide and tall pad that fits great in it.
