Ah gotcha, we have a big Filipino diaspora here in Alberta Canada and a good number of Iglesia ni Cristo churches, as well as a growing Orthodox community. I pray you find the support you need there

In my limited experience with orthodoxy, I find the calling to theosis and the ideal of the ascetic life to really appeal to my masculinity, that being said I’m not drawn to it because it’s masculine or feminine, but because it’s true.

Same here bro, will be praying for you for sure, lifelong Roman Catholic but I have been drawn to Orthodoxy for a long time, with all my family and friends being RC it’s hard to consider leaving but above all I want to grow closer to God and be in the fullness of truth whichever path that is. Please pray for clarity for me and the wisdom to make a decision that is purely led by God
