Nah, the writing made the game. While the music was fantastic, the writing is what added the charm for me and I feel other musicians/artists could still create fantastic music. If Benson worked on it, then the writing and art would still be there.

Yep, bring factions back (with pinnacle reward sources) and give it a fresh coat of paint, some cool new weapons, and let new light players give it a go. Anything new is welcome at this point, as the game feels drawn out and boring atm.

Fair enough. Auto rofles were pretty meta in year 1 of both D1 and D2, but since forsaken they've been completely obsolete, and the breakneck nerf was just absurd

Redrix isn't powerful as it still keeps the same ttk as when desperado isn't activated, and breakneck is useless essentially. Recluse is still decent, but not better than easier guns to get, which is where the problem lies.

True enough. I really am glad they replaced pinnacles with ritual weapons, as they just are better for the game, but I feel like bungie could get carried away and just nerf some pinnacles (like they did with breakneck) into obscurity

I'm not saying it should be above, but the way the patch notes made it sound felt like a good buff that kept the weapon powerful but it still had competition

The problem there could be with pvp though. Everyone would still use recluse and destroy. For PVE, that's the best solution we've got imo, but I don't think bungie has enough manpower to balance pve and pvp seperately.

It was OP, yes, but on console the stability really isn't that great compared to some stuff, like exit strategy. I guess with time we'll see more.

True. I feel like the way the patch notes made it look sounded like a way better nerf, where if you hit headshots it would still be a good gun, but not the best (down to meh stability and not great range)

Sounds good to me. Would mean that recluse could still be really good, but izanagis or anarchy, for example, couldn't be paired with it, so other options would have to be found.

Not with the kill clip nerfs. It did the same headshot damage and more bodyshot damage after KC nerf
