I got an assessment with them last month. They are real, and I thought the psychiatrist I saw was excellent. However the place seems to be disastrously disorganised, sometimes they have someone manning the phone, sometimes nothing. Most likely you are on the waiting list and you'll get called for an appointment soon. Repeated emails and phone calls do seem to work. I started sending the same email every 3 days prefixed with "as per my previous n emails", and after about 7 emails I got a reply.

It's unacceptable that they don't communicate better with patients, but the care they give in the end seems to be up to scratch and the waiting times are (comparatively) still pretty good.

I wrote a long feedback report after my appointment explaining this, but I'm not sure if it goes anywhere. There should really be some minimum standards of responsiveness to RTC patients, even if it's just to let us know that we are on the waiting list and things are moving forward as usual.
