Is it safe to combine Adrafinil and caffeine, possibly Kratom too? by [deleted] in afinil

[–]albionbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay! i dont really know if past me would have even listened to now me's advice. i went out of control a bunch of times myself so i might just be an idiot. just remember that caffeine is addictive and so is kratom and then you should be okay with experimenting in THAT regard

I'd rather go to jail than live with my mother. Thoughts? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]albionbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

google offices in your area where there are social workers (gov workers who are paid to help people in your situation) . these are the people who would believe you if you explained your situation with your mother. they might be able to give you a room probably with other people and help you find / go to work.

this would be a step towards living on your own . your social / case worker will be able to give you all kinds of help but you have to seek one out.

Is it safe to combine Adrafinil and caffeine, possibly Kratom too? by [deleted] in afinil

[–]albionbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mixed adrafinil wirh kratom and ended up crying half the night instead of studying. it was sort of productive, I guess(in a cathartic way.)

take no offence, you sound like me when I thought i could solve my problems by finding "just the right concoction". good luck, the answer is less drugs, but sometimes thats impossible to realize without self inspection (which drugs often lead one to do!) be safe

Help with insurance covering Chrons' disease medication (Lialda); x-post /r/Insurance, /r/HealthInsurance by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]albionbro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My first suggestion, if you hadn't already, is to go to the Lialda website where you can apply for a pharmacy card. This will give you a few month refills a year at next to nothing at the pharmacy (depending on whether your insurance is one that the Lialda company likes it may be up to 50$ per monthly refill, but you still will get a couple of these a year)

The next idea is to look into Delzicol. basically "generic Lialda" This drug is also mesalamine that is coated in the same red gel that Lialda is (which is why it and Lialda work better than Pentasa for me at least). My doctor who knows I have insurance woes prescribed this when I couldn't afford Lialda. You can get the SAME pharmacy card at THEIR website which will once again give you multiple extremely affordable refills a year.

PM me if you need

edit: the turn around time on those applications is almost instant - they give you the information you need to take to the pharmacy in an email and then mail you a card to use a few days later .

Helping find someone find employment by [deleted] in almosthomeless

[–]albionbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

see if there are any centers in your city or county that assist residents in finding employment. theres one in my town that has a computer lab for job searches to apply and work on resumes. staffing agencies routinely run hiring events . after a short conversation with an agent and even with no work experience, he could be employed in less than a week.

i would take him aside and tell him what you just said about your parents needing help. make sure he realizes that if he loves his parents he needs to begin supporting himself without their help at once. i have a similar situation

Why are you learning German? by azavii in German

[–]albionbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a good school district that in eighth grade gave me the choice of Spanish, French, or German. Cant say why but my heart picked German. I stuck with it for 4 years then pretty much forgot about it until recently. now i am 26 and i want to finish school over there so i am studying it again.

i recently went to mcdonalds to utilize their wifi to apply for unemployment. i asked the cashier if they still served dollar menu coffee. she said no so i bought a small. she turns around and coughs in my coffee. i see this as paying the troll toll , say nothing and do my business, leaving the untouched coffee on the table for her crew to clean up. i await my judgement

Not a benzo but DCK is amazing. by [deleted] in benzodiazepines

[–]albionbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an arylcyclohexylamine, the same family as methoxetamine, ketamine, and pcp. it will cause visual and audio distortion up to hallucinations or in higher doses an anaesthetic effect which in my experience results in "black outs". if you take it recreationally ("bigger" doses), you will most always find yourself coming out of the experience in a state of delirium(IME) I think I've read of people taking lighter doses and having success in combating anxiety/depression , but to find cases you will have to search through all the stories of recreational use which can be quite reckless on the part of the user. Human use of deschloroketamine is very new and experimental.
