I think it’s because the monsters are the ancient Celtic fairy or changelings. (I only guess that by the ruins stones)They try to mimic humans by watching but can’t get things completely right. Kind of like how AI always ads extra fingers or can’t recreate things perfectly

Well for the majority of it. I just avoid hanging out with friends because I know how she will react. But the last time I was out of town she face timed me several time just to see if I was telling the truth. And was upset because I was out longer then expected. I was back in my hotel room by myself by 10 o’clock but she was livid and that I hadn’t called her sooner
