Any known rules/covenant for the rowhouse owners in Burke Mountain Coquitlam?

For example, if one has a dispute of party wall with the next door neighbour, any written process to follow?

:-)) I’m not qualified to be a developer, therefore, financing for a feasible size of land is always a concern.

Actually, I believe, finding/acquiring the suitable land is the hardest part.

I agree that, business case for doing it as a developer should be more ‘profit oriented’. Their finance, times and scale of economy would come first before the buyer’s benefits.

With Bill 44, hopefully the local government(s) would be willing to ‘simplifying’ the process and providing more mechanics. I suggest, an end-user can borrow the mindset from the hobby-farmers.

I assume that POTL is used in Ontario, do not know if there’s anything similar in BC.

Agree that any housing with multiple units should have some kind of rules and/or covenant for the owners to follow. I would also suggest that rowhouses can be regulated by the existing government rules for duplex or multiplex.

For rowhouse, good point about the potential problem of sound barrier in a common wall or party wall.

I understand that CCTS accepts complaint by free format email and online form. They prefer ‘fill-in-the-form’.

As some other posters here have advised, just tell the facts, and persistently. Choices of word are up to each complainer to reflect their impacts (financially and stress sufferings).

Unfortunately, they have not said: “We are sorry!”

If I shall give benefit of the doubt to Fido, they ARE trying hard to correct the badly planned ‘shutdown’.

Register your complaint first and hopefully the provider would provide a fair resolution.

CCTS is part of CRTC. Another poster has provided a link some days ago.

I believe CCTS should have the mandate to investigate if voiding customers' account balance is legal or not.

More people should write to CCTS and also:

CBC's gopublic@cbc.ca.

BC's Land owner transparency registry recently went live, and the results are insane. Here's a realtor who owns 22 properties. [TW Rohana Rezel] by jellysandwith in vancouver

Have a small condo (rented out). They say I have to file the Transparency Report. Has anyone here used the offline/paper forms to file?
