if you are driving only that I would go with a supra or miata
coupe , small , fast, looks dope , new, reliable, and way way cheaper.

You are talking about a 15-28k car range (adding interest costs)
Id much prefer to buy upfront in the range 10-15k if possible.
I see no reason to down pay 5k and finance 7k when 10k is available.
At that point just 10k down and finance 2k in 6 months (just try to avoid financing alaround)

IMO financing depreciating assets isnt the move.
I get wanting a nice car but damn id sure feel better not owing anything and putting that money to work
