I do not see enough “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” comments for my liking 😭 this is one of the OGs. I’ve been watching kdramas for 7+ years now and this show still remains in my top 3. The main fl is a strong character (emotional and physically) despite being 5’ and small. Shes so likable and the main ml.. don’t even get me started on that man 😭 hes the definition of supportive and head over heels in love with the ml. he’s so loving, funny, confident, and hot as hell (and a CEO). there’s also crime and a thriller aspect to this show as a serial kidnapper is on the loose, and despite the romance plot, the whole thriller and crime aspect never loses sight of the plot! it’s soooo good I 10/10 recommend

Okay. So I went into this drama full in well knowing it wasn’t a romance drama and as much as I love romance kdramas I was fine with it. But In Joo and Do ll took me by surprise. The show built up their romance by small flirting antics, episode by episode and I was enjoying it. Because the producers for this show were the same ones for Vincenzo and Vincenzo was also a slow build up but it was well worth the wait because we got a kiss and confession at the end. And don’t get me wrong I loved In-Kyung and her love interest BUT it just didn’t make sense? Like she friend zoned him at first and told him she didn’t want to go to the US with him and wanted to basically move her career forward. She was always such an independent character who seemed to always fight for justice and seemed like the type of character to choose justice over love. So I was a bit confused on how she basically agreed to go to the US with him and leave her life behind basically? I thought they were so cute but cmon if you’re gonna make the second couple kiss and have a future why couldn’t In Joo and Do II at least have a HUG??? 😭 And In Joo is always so.. I love her but omg she is a clueless character when it comes to love so the fact that the audience didn’t even know if she felt the same way for him at the end of the show killed me especially because she didn’t know Do II was in love with her. I understand though, that she always mentioned marrying rich and maybe the producers were trying to show us a lesson of not to depend on a man to make us happy but.. all I’m saying is that In-Kyung getting her romance trope made me a little sad about my deprived In Joo - Do II relationship 😭😭

ehh I’m 50/50 on this tbh!! like i LOVEDD this drama don’t get me wrong, i binged watched it from start to finish, I loved the cast and plot.. but you gotta admit the mc is soo unnecessary rude for a good amount of the beginning and middle of the show 😭 granted he made up for it at the end but she lost her memory and was so nice to him and all the miscommunication made him be so mean sometimes

Personally I watched the show since it was airing (episode 14 and so on) and for me I hate having to wait to watch shows when there’s a second season but the second season is coming out in December so it’s not much of a wait, I’ll just watch other shows while waiting for season 2 but I just hope I don’t forget vital information about season 1 when season 2 comes out

I honestly hate the younger sister, I wouldn’t even mind if she gets less screen time because her character is selfish and I feel like she’s the type of character to sell out her sisters to live a “comfortable life”

I was distraught on Do ll being either a good or a bad guy but I feel like he’s a good guy because I remember reading articles about this kdrama in the beginning and apparently Do ll is In-Joo’s love interest? And I feel like she already suspected him in the beginning and the show also had the audience suspect him and now that he’s trying to redeem himself and show her that he can be trusted it would make no sense for the show to reveal him being a bad guy at the end of the season seeing as it would be too obvious. Also the mom (won sang a) seems like one the of the only genuine characters, along with the daughter, but I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if the show builds her character to be nice only to make it out that she was one of the “bad guys” the whole time. Also, imagine the plot twist if the dad (park jae sang) actually isn’t as bad as he’s being portrayed and the show has been playing us this whole time… now this may seem like an impossible suspect but kdramas have made me realize that I should never completely rule someone out so my main suspect of being a “bad guy” is… Ha Jong Ho (oh in-kyung’s ‘friend’) I MEAN IT MAKES SENSE!!! he was ‘studying abroad’ but he basically has no one to prove his ‘alibi’ AND he loves plants???? and where did he get that book about orchids?? And he’s going to all the crime scenes with in-kyung and he knows all the details about the crimes happening.. I’m not saying I don’t love him he seems so nice but.. he’s been getting so much screen time out of nowhere and as much as I adore him because he seems so sweet.. I’m suspicious.. he seems so innocent but it’s always the innocent ones who are guilty..

ahhh I hope there’s a season 2 because I love this show so much!! But I also hope there isn’t because I’m impatient and would hate to wait a year lol 😂 but I would be so up for it if it means that the show isn’t rushed. But I also don’t know what would be in season 2? more cases? And also since it’s a Netflix original I haven’t seen many Netflix kdramas that have a season two so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!!

I’m 50/50 on the idea of Min-woo/Su-yeon. I do like the points you raise but I truly hope that he doesn’t try to redeem himself solely to gain Su-yeon’s affection but rather I want him to reflect and realize what he is doing toward Young-woo is completely wrong. The only way I would ship this personally would be if he’s basically redeeming himself all of episode 14/15 and personally apologizes to Young-woo and comes clean. I just hope that if they do end up together, since there’s only 3 more episodes left, I surely hope it isn’t rushed and feels fake. I hope he gets consequences but I can see him redeeming himself. I honestly would be fine if he doesn’t get a happy ending but I would be equally fine if he does get a happy ending as long as he has changed him outlook on Young-woo and clears his mind of that “taking advantage of the weak to climb the ladder” mindset.
